Un havre charmant et reposant

Sylvie, la propriétaire est fort sympathique et passionnante quand elle parle de ses vignes, sa cave et son champagne.

Very comfortable and well equipped property.

More amenities are available in nearby Dormans which also has a Chateau and a impressive War Memorial. A good central position to see the highlights of Champagne. The highlight of our stay was the tour of the wine cellar and tasting and being lucky enough to be there for the harvesting and grape pressing. Sylvie went out of her way to show us the workings of the business, even taking us up to where the grapes were being picked and to witness the actual crushing of the grapes. A really special experience. Far better that any cellar tour of the bit names! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Publié le 10 mai 2016 sur HomeAwayThe house was fully equipped with all the necessary things, there were even toys and games for children! The beds were comfortable and everything was functional. We really appreciated the wood stove and the garden. There was plenty of space for children to play, walk bare foot and lay in the sun. It is a quiet, cosy and warm place to come to after exploring the surroundings.
There are plenty of choices to spend the time in the area - trails along the Marne or through the vineyards, champagne houses, castles, tourist attractions in Reims, Epernay, a theme park for children, Paris (approx. 90 minutes by car), good restaurants (be aware that most of them are closed on Mondays!). There is a supermarket 2,5 km away.
Sylvie and Gerard were very friendly and helpful, they provided us a lot of information regarding champagne production and the area (and also a very tasty champagne degustation !).
A great place to stay ! If we will come again in Champagne region, we will definitely choose this location again!

fantastisch verblijf

Veel gewandeld en gefietst. Ook bijzondere dank aan Sylvie voor bezoek aan eigen champagnebedrijf en degustatie.

We liked the champagne tour very much, very kind owners.
The house was clean . I didnt like the wool blankets,
But that was the only thing.
