Avis Auberge du Mont-Blanc

The staff was nice. Soup was good but the main meal was not so great. Breakfast was bad. Main problem was the state of repair of the guesthouse. When were there, there was only about 10 guests staying so almost all rooms were empty, yet for some reason we were given a room that had not a functioning door. Really the door frame was completely broken and we really can't understand why the hotel owner didn't just allocate a different room for us. Toilet doors didn't have locks. Lights in toilets didn't work. Toilets had mold. This hotel would of been terrible if it had been full. Nevertheless this guesthouse has lots of potential, if a little money was spent on it, I would be given it a positive review. The sitting area was nice downstairs. The beer was cold and the owner seemed like a nice friendly man.
