Musty odor
Publié le 28 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur main issue with this house was that it smelled musty throughout the home. There is no air conditioning (which isn’t obvious through the VRBO listing - would need to be looking specifically for it not to be listed). There are no fans, including portable ones, and only the smaller side windows are able to be opened which is hard to do at night due to the road noise. This made for little air flow throughout the house and it smelled musty throughout our stay. It also isn’t obvious through the listing photos that the living room furniture is outdated (the couch is a vinyl type of material). The location is good for exploring the redwoods and coastal areas. The house was very clean. Overall, we would not stay here again.

Great location to the beach and redwoods

Cute home w stunning view
Publié le 26 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThis home was perfect for our family and everyone had their own space and bed. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. It was. A short walk to moonstone beach and very easy freeway access to the south. The house was cutely decorated and was very clean.

Nice house in a convenient location

We loved that it was so close to the beach - FYI, the walk down to the beach is on a steep road (I was curious about that when we booked). It is also a short drive into Trinidad for groceries or dinner. The house was clean, had nice linens and towels, and beautiful views of sunsets. Remember to bring your slippers, as it is an older house and the floors were chilly. The owner provides well-working space heaters to help warm up the bedrooms. It was refreshing that there wasn't a long list of to-do items for check out like at other places we've stayed. It's a nice place to stay when visiting the redwood parks.
