surrounding property was beautiful. Room were old. Rugs were very used. Bed was clean. Couldn't get the TV to work at all. Upset because this was our down evening after doing so much for five days. Went to the office to see if someone could help, and no one was around at all. Next day we found someone to help and someone had taken the internet box. They took one from another room to get ours to work. We did our laundry and the laundry room was in much need of repair but managed to get some clean clothes. We had a wonderful breakfast in the motel. Huckelberry pancakes and bacon and coffee for two. $55 Quite a price for breakfast. We were told in just past to new owners. We wish them well and maybe after some fixing, they will be fine.

Hello Susan, Thank you so much for staying with us, and for your review. My husband and I are the new owners and have only owned it a few months. Our plan is to update all the rooms this winter, I actually ordered all new rugs a few days ago. The laundry mat is on hold currently until the county approved the renovation. It is a very important news not only for the hotel but for the whole community! I’m so sorry that someone took the ROkU off your Tv we are also upgrading to all smart TVs so that this won’t be possible in the future ( as funds allow). I’m so glad you enjoyed the restaurant! But seems either you were over charged or had more things on your ticket it should have been 31.90 for (2) double stack huckleberry pancakes, sides of bacon, and coffee. If you were charged different please contact us for a refund. We hope you stay with us again we have been working hard upgrading and fixing, and have big plans for the future! The room was dated, but clean. When we got there the computers were down so we couldn't check in. Which wasn't that big of a deal. Once the computers were up we checked in and went to our rooms. Then we went to the lobby for dinner, which there was an event going on so once we went in we could not leave and go back to our rooms. We went to dinner at 5:00 and the live music wasn't until 8:00 and we were not allowed to go back to our rooms, at all if we wanted to come back for the live music. The following morning we went to breakfast and came back to our room to freshen up before we left for the ride back home, but they had already checked us out of our room and cleaned it. (Mind to you this was well before the checkout time ) Overall was an okay stay it just seems like a lot of misunderstandings. I do not think we'll be back for an event or we will find dinner somewhere else so we can come and go until we are ready to be a part of the event.

Amazing place
Publié le 13 sept. 2024 sur HotelsThis place was amazing. Service was fantastic. Sitting on the river i dont think you could ask for a better view. Very convenient bar/restaurant/gift shop as well. Highly recommend the huckleberry shake as well. Definitely want to go back for leisure instead of a quick stop through for work.

Although staff was very friendly and pleasant, the motel was a little rundown. Beds were very hard (gel mattress), and the whole place needed a good dusting.

Thank you for your review. Our beds are memory foam mattresses. Some people love them and some find them, as you did, hard. I will pass on the "dusting" to housekeeping - thank you for mentioning that.
