Staff not very welcoming or friendly. Construction going on so dirty and dusty.

Worst hotel i’ve ever stayed at

Noisy oudated hotel
Publié le 19 août 2024 sur HotelsHotel was no Luxury. The hotel is doing renovations, no food service, outdated decor. Their were either guests of workers from renovation grilling and playing loud music until 2am.
Check out is until 11am, but hotel card was deactivated before 10am and couldn't get back in the room, had to go to desk to reactivated it.

Unaware prior to booking that indoor construction/maintenance of pool and closure of breakfast room would be going on. Had we known, we would have booked another hotel.

Average hotel; doing renovations; room hot and had to crank AC and leave for 2 hours to cool off room

This is the worse hotel stay of me and my wife’s life. Booked weeks in advance. When we booked the location listed the facility as having a pool and continental breakfast. When we rolled into the parking lot multiple vehicles with flat tires that had obviously been parked there for a while were seen. When we entered the building we were greeted by “a smell” behind the counter were two people who evidently cared nothing about customer service. When I complained that the dinning area was closed and they informed me that breakfast was a “to go” breakfast. Which consisted of cheep coffee, and bagged muffins and bagged “sandwiches”. They informed us the pool was closed. The main hallway was tapped off with plastic, the facility was falling apart, convenience machines were out of order or un-stocked. Having driven for hours to arrive to our location we expected so much more. When I very adamantly expressed my dissatisfaction with the owner he dismissively and rudely offered to cancel the stay. As if I wanted to spend the next few hours looking for a hotel that was available on a Friday night on my anniversary. Sure thanks a lot you generous person. “Luxury” inn and not so sweet. Please steer clear of this business destined for bankruptcy. Should be a zero star review. Can’t wait to hear the response the owner has to say

On our website and on these 3rd party sites it clearly states that our pool is closed and that our breakfast area is closed for renovations. It states the breakfast will be a "to go" breakfast. So before booking the reservation, did you not bother to read it? did you expect to take waffles and biscuits and gravy on the go? let me know how that works. Before you checked in, we have a sign listed that our pool is closed and about the breakfast area closed. You were asked if you still wanted to check-in, you declined. We didn't know that renovations is considered "falling apart" if that's the case, every business is falling apart I assume. Coffee is folgers. If you want starbucks, its in the next town. No one talked rude to you. You were mad because you didnt get the discount or free room you were requesting. The owner doesn't work here, that was the night manager. Its amazing what lengths people go just to get a free room or discount. Have a nice day.
