Best vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in

Usually vacation rentals are like online dating…the pictures and description are good but once you’re there in person you realize the photos are outdated and were taken with strategic angles and lighting. This house, however, managed to exceed the already positive listing! We had 2 families, 3 generations and 10 people between 7 months and 77 years old. Perfect place for everyone. Super clean and comfortable. My husband had allergies and is very sensitive to dust and had no problems. The babies lived crawling around the carpet, which looked brand new it was so cozy and clean. The house is well set up in terms of kitchen items, games, toys and furniture. We did a lot of cooking and appreciated how everything we could need was there. The windows allowed for so much natural light made the house feel bright even when it was cloudy. The view was of a snow covered lake and I imagine in summer it’s gorgeous. It is distributed three levels which helps with noise and the kids lived running around. Foosball in the loft area was a huge hit too and appreciated the sleds that we used both days. The mud room at the entrance was very handy and allows us to shed wet things and transition from inside to out and back. We were super grateful for the late check out they offered (for a modest fee). I don’t know how we would’ve gotten out of there by 10. Being able to pack up and even fit in a morning sledding run made us leave feeling relaxed and not stressed. We will be back!

Beautiful place to stay. lots of room. bedrooms comfy. outdoor activities hiking from the house. love this home would stay again.

NEVER RENT FROM VASCASA!!!!

If you see any property that's managed by Vascasa do not rent from them! Ever! I wish I read reviews about Vascasa on Google prior to my booking. Hands down the worst customer service I've ever had. In all fairness the house was nice, the location pristine and overall I would give the actual home 4/5 stars. -First of all, they copy and paste all their responses with some generic message which is very impersonal. -If you have any issues each response is handled by a different agent making you repeat everything cause they don't take the time to actually read the entire thread. I think their customer support is outsourced by the broken English. - I contacted them a week before to confirm the BBQ grill was set and ready. The confirmed yes. No BBQ it was locked away in the garage, Was promised someone will come set it up...No one came the 3 days we were there just more irrelevant run-around support from them. All of our meals were based on a BBQ grill and wasted alot in butcher-cut meat for this special trip. Was promised reimbursement for the inconvenience and never got it and now deny it and wont return calls. -The property was unlocked when we got there which raises safety concerns. -The downstairs bunk bed had blood stains on the sheets (YUCK) and right next to the pillows in your face..disgusting to say the least. I feel bad for the owners putting their trust in this company. It ruined what was supposed to be a memorable trip.

Great Themed Stay

First time reviewer and I have to say I don't have any complaints about this place. We came right after a snowstorm so everything was pretty snowed in but we were able to park our cars and entire the property no problem. The space is large and we had really good heating in the top two floors. The water also was nice and warm even after several showers. We loved the nautical theme and we the kitchen was great for cooking. Great place and would stay again.

Waterfront bliss

This is a very thoughtfully designed and appointed home. I fell in love with the location, being right on Serene Lake. We were so comfortable, a special place for family memories.
