Lovely house

The Laurels
Publié le 12 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWhat a gem The Laurels is. We enjoyed a long weekend at the cottage and had everything we needed. Lovely welcome package to arrive to after a long drive and lots of information about what to visit in the area.
Beds were very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean.
Would definitely visit again.

Publié le 28 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe hyggelig cottage with a lot of cushions and cosiness was a nice place to stay. The kitchen was very well equiped, the warm water in the shower was instant and enough for 4 people and the beds were very cosy and we could sleep very well...the only thing was the missing wifi, were we would have liked a remark in the description, that there is no wifi/internet...we read our newspapers over the internet and for planning trips etc it would have been important and for us essential...we actually wouldn t have booked if we knew there was no internet.....the signal for mobile internet was sadly too weak for research etc, so that we had a bit of a problem there....
Otherwise a very great place to stay...thank you very much...

Clean, tidy, everything you need is at hand even a local shop opposite m.
We were comfortable & it was a great base from which to explore the area

Mount Hawk
Publié le 8 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayLovely terraced cottage tastefully decorated. Local pub has now closed so you need to drive. Local village shop is very handy just across the road. Around 10 min drive to St Agnes which is a really nice spot. Did miss not having Wi-Fi and the on street parking for more than one car is tricky.

Thankyou for your review great to have constructive feed back. Mount Hawke is a small village that has a regular bus service that will take you to st Agnes perranporth Truro and more local 1 mile to Porthtowan which has two restaurants on the beach and pubs fish and chips cafe gift shops and ice cream parlour with the stunning coastal path. Most guests arriving come in one car together and although parking is not designated we generally have never had any issues
We have considered WiFi however still having mixed reviews some like tthe getaway and some don’t
