Divine bach experience
Publié le 22 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayPeter and Wendy were wonderful hosts from the get-go and helped guide and direct us towards the bach with complete ease. They also helped us load our belongings into the bach for the short walk up to the bach! The bach itself is beyond serene - fully equipped with every little thoughtful thing to make the guests feel more welcome, at home, and comfortable! We absolutely loved the whole experience right from the start to the end. The sounds of the birds, the scenic view from every window at the property, and the absolute sense of peace was the perfect way to get a little escape and taste the beauty of NZ. Would a 100% recommend this spot to any nature lover or just anyone looking to restore themselves from the daily hustle of every day life!

Peace, tranquility and views to die for!

Host Peter was very accommodating.
And the bed with a view was a highlight!
Highly recommended.

Best little secret of the Coromandel
Publié le 3 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayPete's place is a lovely hideaway nestled in beautiful native bush. The house is cute and quirky with amazing views from the deck and bed! Per the description, there are a number of stairs from the car to the house through the bush, so pack lightly (it's not terrible, but you wouldn't want to carry the kitchen sink). There are a few lovely walks to do from the house including down to their local stony beach, and a wonderful sandy beach only 5-10 mins drive away. Bathroom facilities are in immaculate condition, kitchen is well kitted out, and Pete was a wonderful host. We stayed 2 nights, but could have easily stayed 4 or more to really settle in and explore the area.

Publié le 18 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayWhat a wonderful place and hosts! 3 days gave us a small sample of what this part of the Coromandle has to offer. The accommodation is full of wonder with acollection of rocks that are mind blowing. The flora and birdlife are non stop. We truly hope to return!

We were visited by Tūī, kererū and heard some kākā in the area!

Publié le 26 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis place is such a great find! The views are absolutely stunning and the bird life is amazing. We could even hear Kiwi at night. I can’t imagine anywhere better to relax and completely unwind!
Pete and Wendi are lovely hosts and made sure we were comfortable during our stay.
