Sweet place, sweet location

Everything we needed, plus free use of a couple of cruiser bikes that we used on the path adjacent to the property (just had to fill the tires). We also enjoyed a couple of short jogs through the neighborhood and loved meeting the pair of emus and shaggy sheep a couple of blocks over! The casita bed was super comfy and it was incredibly quiet. Owner was very responsive.

Great get-away location
Publié le 1 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayOur casita at Horse Thief Ranch was the PERFECT place for my wife and I to hang out, recharge and relax during our four-night stay in Tucson. Super quiet neighborhood with great access to local restaurants and points of interest. We even to to spend some time visiting with other guests at the ranch and enjoy their company. Communications with the owners was fantastic - couldn't ask for anything better. We sincerely hope we can stay at this property on our next Tucson visit.

It was clean, just the right size for my wife and I. A full kitchen minus a dishwasher...but mom made sure I knew how to wash dishes. The bed was VERY comfortable. I have trouble sleeping at night and that mattress was perfect. We shopped locally for groceries for our six night stay. The fridge was newer and very clean. The courtyard was very nice. Great place for outdoor coffee in the morning. There is a long pathway along the river behind the property. We plan to come back.

Publié le 13 mars 2022 sur HomeAwayWe stayed in unit B casita. Nicely appointed. Quiet location. Unit B is quite small and a bit dark but it was very comfortable, and our dog was welcome!
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place.

Great Ambiance
Publié le 24 août 2021 sur HomeAwayIf you are looking for the western experience, Horse Thief Ranch is a great place to stay. We made ourselves at home and enjoyed the beautiful grounds and views of the Santa Catalina Mountains. The ranch would be a wonderful place for a family reunion because of the casitas and main house. Our mattress was incredibly comfortable, the best I have ever had on my travels.

We appreciated being out of the city and yet a close 10-15 minutes from food and grocery. The apartment had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. We really appreciate a full size refrigerator. We have a little Boston terrier and she was safe and secure in the fence yard. We appreciate all the activities that were accurately described. We really liked the walking trails. We would definitely stay there again.
