Tucked deep in the Tucson Mountains west of Tucson proper, this newly constructed ranch-style villa is a secluded hideaway that boasts privacy and comfort. This quaint villa has 1100 sq ft of living area with mission tile porches wrapped around the entire home. A sahuaro studded 3.3 acre lot cradles the home as it blends into the undisturbed landscape just a minute's hike from Tucson Mountain Park. Tucson Mountain Park is a natural undisturbed desert enviroment.

A great location, this rental is only 10 minutes from Interstate 10 and downtown Tucson. Hike from the home into Tucson Mountain Park, or drive 20 minutes to Saguaro National Park. The Arizona-Sonoran Desert Museum and Old Tucson Studios are a short 25 minute drive through scenic Gates Pass. This home is only 1 mile away from world class mountain biking for all skill levels. Miles of trails wander thru the beautiful sonoran desert among the majestic saguaro cacti

Great Getaway
One of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed. From the acres of cactus, desert wildlife and peaceful surroundings with an outdoor hot tub under the stars, this was the perfect home to unwind. Excellent location to explore Tucson and the surrounding area. Host made it all super easy and we’re making recommendations to book this property to our friends.

Beautiful Casita Among The Saguaros
We really enjoyed our stay. It is a lovely casita with everything we needed. We were in Tucson for a mountain biking trip. The location was perfect for us. Close to great riding. We especially enjoyed lounging at the casita after a good ride and soaking in the hot tub.

Ideal location for some Rest & Relaxation
Home offered a perfect place to unwind with the desert and it's wildlife literally at the porch edge. Fabulous wrap around porch with both covered and uncovered sections for enjoying the outdoors at different times of the day regardless of the the temperature and location of the sun. House was well appointed with everything we needed, and check in/out was seamless. Would stay here again.

Best VRBO Ever!
This place was perfect. Everything was clean as a whistle. All the necessary ammenities were in place. It was the perfect place to work for a few days with huge windows overlooking a beautiful view with several friendly critters passing by throughout the day and evening. I will be staying again in a few weeks!

Comfortable spacious home in beautiful location
The home was a perfect place for my son and me. I loved the location, west of town in a quiet neighborhood with saguaros and javelinas! The home was well equipped with everything we needed. The night sky was beautiful, with a full moon and lots of stars (not at the same time!).

Surrounded by Desert, visited by quail
Spotless (hats off to the good people who do the VERY hard work of cleaning VRBO’s so that the homes qualify for that word, no easy task!), beautifully designed, and unusually well supplied home up in the Tucson mountains, very close the the Tucson Mountain Park. Excellent mattress and linens. Kitchen fully equipped. Hot tub clean and heated, with a desert surround. Easy access to astonishingly beautiful hiking trails which we used almost daily. For those concerned about security, the owner’s home is across the driveway. Easily accessible, friendly, helpful owner, Tracy, who understands these deserts and has a deep love of Nature. We followed another reviewers’ advice to buy bird seed, and within hours had a covey of almost 30 Gambel’s Quail, as well as doves and a large variety of passerines; 2 white tail rabbits, and an occasional visit by a juvenile hawk. A family of 3 mule deer passed through. The back porch is a glorious place to spend late afternoons after hiking. Thank you to the owners and to Lettie who cleaned this large casita so beautifully.

Great Sagurao Retreat!
We thoroughly enjoyed our retreat away among the saguaro cacti in the west hills of Tuscon. The adobe casita was most comfortable for the two of us. It was a good location for access to town, the Saguaro National Park, hiking trails and museums! Most of all it provided a welcome respite during Spring Break. And from the back patio, we saw a javelina, a coyote, two rabbits and many new-to-us birds. If you are a twosome, this one bedroom may suit you well!

You will want to live here!
My husband and I came to Tucson for my birthday after staying at a hotel with trails on the property. I never could have imagined how much more we could experience at this Vrbo. Fantastic location, we walked through the park everyday and also many other nearby trails and it’s also convenient to groceries, restaurants, and other retail. So well stocked with multiple types of coffee makers so you can watch the birds with binoculars they’ve provided! Grills, extra linens, pillows, toiletries- more than enough of everything you need. Tracy was a fantastic host!

A week at the Saguaro Hideaway exceeded our expectations that were already high. We were surrounded by the magical Sonoran Desert with animal life (birds and mammals) regularly coming by. Great place to have your morning coffee on the balcony looking over the mountains.
