Hôtel propre, bel accueil. J’ ai adoré. La Wifi est disponible. Pas de problème de connection.

The staff who checked us in was wonderful! The room was close to the car and easy to get to. The room was spacious and clean. There was a nice Chinese restaurant right next door. They even had boba tea! The food was terrific. Shopping and other restaurants were close by within a 5 minute drive.

The staff was really rude the GM was even worse will never stay there again

I just want to say thank you and I really appreciate William for recognizing who was in the wrong and coming back to the hotel and apologizing. Not a lot of people would do that so it really says a lot about him and his character. It meant a lot to me that he came back and I wholeheartedly accept his apology! I assumed that this review would have been taken down but since it was posted by the female who rented the room and not William it may not get removed. In case this review is still up I would like to clarify what happened. William and his female companion became upset and was yelling and cussing my staff because she asked her to not take the breakfast to their room. There are 3 signs in the breakfast room stating not to take breakfast out of the breakfast room. Some people fail to read the signs and we have to verbally tell each guest. One of the many jobs my staff has is enforcing rules made by the company. Even rules we do not agree with. I am sorry we got off on the wrong foot. The Magnuson is a tired, old and somewhat neglected property. Any renovation that has been done may have been done by someone with a serious eye/visual condition. The general consensus is “we won’t be back”.

I am very sorry to hear that you will not be returning. We are an older hotel however our rooms are nice, clean and we have with new mattresses in all rooms. We are working on doing renovations in the coming months. I really hope that you will reconsider staying with us next time you are in town. Thank you so much for staying with us. I am very sorry to here about your dissatisfaction of our hotel. I have taken note about the cleanliness of your room. My housekeeping manager is aware and has taken action towards it not happening again. You did book a smoking room and sometimes it is hard to get the smoke smell out of it. This could be part of the problem. I will have to disagree with you about our hotel being in a bad area. Our area is a bit industrial but there is very little to no crime that happens here. Also we are right off the highway, 2 mins (depending on the traffic lights) from downtown Sand Springs and 5-7 mins away from downtown Tulsa. Again I am very sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us. I hope you have a blessed rest of your week! Thank you for choosing Magnuson Hotels.

It was clean and quiet. Beds were okay. The lamp beside beds was faulty, the hair dryer was barely working and had a broken plug. Desk legs bowed out. The AC was cold but damp and musty. Staff were really nice. Wasn't a horrible place, just needed some upgrades.
