Nice but....
Publié le 1 avr. 2019 sur HomeAwayThe cost ended up 50+% higher, after owner changed mind few times, emailing me during the vacation, after midnight once, expecting responses while hoping to relax there. House was OK, owner difficult though.
Our fifth time in neighborhood, very nice each trip, never had these issues at other casa's.

This was a learning experience! This renter attempted to cancel his reservation within 7 days of his possession date which meant he forfeited all rental fees. He attempted to stop payments on his credit card. This prompted VRBO to start a fraud investigation as he claimed he was unaware of the charges. When he realized the potential consequences, he contacted me privately, pleaded ignorance & wanted to honor his commitment. Against my better judgement, I agreed but that meant he needed to sent cash payment immediately as his CC company had everything locked down he claimed. He argued continually about the rental rate & the dollar conversion. Rental rates are clearly stated & I do not control the banks conversion of dollars. He wasted numerous hours of my time. In the end, he told me he sent through a payment via PayPal so I released the access code to my home. Once the payment came through, he had actually shorted me money due to a PayPal fee he needed to pay ! Emails sent to him while he was enjoying my home were in an attempt to collect what was still owing on the rental as he had possession of my house. He failed to respond to any emails which caused me considerable stress as I was not comfortable having him in my home. This was a terrible experience & in the future, I'll let the fraud investigators do their job.

Beautiful little house with all the amenities close to some of the best Quintana Roo has to offer

Very comfortable beds, basic but efficient bath, nice patio with cute plunge pool for hot afternoons. Short walk to Xcacel Turtle Sanctuary & beach, also convenient to village of Chemuyil with restaurants and small shops. The owner & her managers are quick to respond to any inquiries and happy to answer questions & make recommendations. In all, an excellent place to base oneself.

Perfect Location Away from the Chaos of Tulum

The backyard and pool are perfect for a relaxing breakfast or quiet afternoon. The location is great for exploring all that this area has to offer. And the neighborhood was quiet and safe. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

clean and great location

The house was clean and had everything we needed. We had plenty of towels and having a washer and dryer was really nice. The kitchen was great and we really enjoyed making our meals here.

I loved the small town, friendly people and any issues we had we taken care of right away.
