I was unhappy staying in Chic Apartment Turin. The descriptions are misleading. WiFi, TV, and air-con are not working. The flat was hot and without access to entertainment. I have to get out of the flat. Owner did try to remedy but in his own time at 3pm. So why someone who is on holiday choose to go back to the flat in the middle of the day? It's an hour round trip. Not in the city centre (as described) - 30 mins by tram, in an unsafe neighbourhood (my first day, I saw thugs violently abuse 3 Eurovision fans on the tram. What sets me off is that the host changed the check-in time to 11 am - I can't as I am enroute to Turin so I asked for 5 pm (advertised as 4 pm) but the host can only make it at 7 pm. On check-out day, the host asked to check out at 10 am. No courtesy to ask if I am ok to check-in and check-out in his times. What do I do for an hour outside? 6 hours were taken from me. Worn, dull grey bath towel (picture is bright white) and it is a single bed but not the double bed as advertised. It was extremely noisy outside & I can't close the windows else it will be too hot. No complimentary bath shampoo and soap. I didn't say anything there and then because the host is elderly and nice and I felt bad complaining to someone who offered his home to me. I wouldn't complain but I was uncomfortable staying there throughout. I just want to go home is how I felt.
