We loved everything about our stay. Shawn, the manager, was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Dymon, the Chef, cooked the most filling and delicious meals! Our Captian was so kind. Erminia is funny and delightful! Rondey educated us on all the sea life when we went snorkeling. Our room was enormous and comfortable. We felt like home. It was so lovely and I cannot wait to go again.

Simply put they have a fraction of the items they mention on their site, they aren't close to ready for opening and if you want to do anything but diving you'll be disappointed. Listed: 2 restaurants, a Spa, a bar at the end of a pier, 5 star resort and white sand beach. Actual: 1 kitchen where a single option is offered at set times with few options for changes and no snacks (not even for purchase), no spa, no bar at the end of the pier and a massive unfinished hotel where staff are hard to find, and forgetful. The beach is small and typically you'll be attacked by bugs (not in the hotel's control, but makes it hard to enjoy the beach) unless the wind is in your favor. With no bathroom doors and windows into the shower, the rooms have little privacy and little sound blocking from room to room. The diving was lovely and the guides educated and helpful, but for a dive resort with 90+ rooms, they didn't even have enough rental equipment for the less than 20 guests on the property at the time. That meant we both had to dive in illfitting wetsuits. Truly, not a single part of this resort is ready for guests!!!

Dear Anonymous, When you planned to travel to Belize DIVE Haven you were given a heavily discounted rate because the resort was on a pre grand opening preview. Knowing this and knowing that the resort was located 30 miles from shore on the Turneffe Atoll and was still under construction yet you still decided to come. Since you were last at Belize Dive Haven many things have changed. The Pier Bar has been completed and is a great place to enjoy your dinner while watching many different fish swim by such as Rays, Turtles, Tarpon, Barracuda and a multitude of schooling fish species. We offer massages daily by appointment and manicures and pedicures can be arranged. The bathroom doors have been installed and shower windows have been frosted. Drink and snack menus are posted for purchase. We fog for bugs twice a day, fist thing in the morning and before dinner. Most DIVERS that come to Belize Dive Haven bring their own gear. On the occasion that someone forgets or needs something then we have many sets of rental gear including dive computers. Our dive sites are world class and our guides, as you have pointed out are educated and helpful. If you are coming to Belize Dive Haven for Scuba Diving vacation, You will not be disappointed.
