Ugly building but okay inside

Pour : As above, the rooms and facilities are fine. Staff friendly and helpful.
Contre : A lot could be done to beautify the inside. The outside I think is beyond hope.
Emplacement : It’s in a very central position, convenient for most things. White water rafting, walks, Botanic Garden. We used it to break our journey only.
The building is like a large warehouse from the outside (we had trouble finding the way in) and located in a rather grotty part of town beside a huge hangar-like structure where homeless people were sleeping rough. Once inside though the rooms are pleasant and well laid out and there is a well equipped kitchen and a nice though small communal lounge. The Wi-Fi was very good in our room. The woman who runs the hotel was friendly and pleasant and very helpful. All that’s wrong really is the grimness of the building and location.
