Comfy Space with Beautiful View of Lake Superior
Publié le 6 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayAlthough we have stayed in this 4-plex in the past, the space has been upgraded with new kitchen appliances, dishes, and other items. Bedroom improvements include wall mounted closet options for hanging clothes and more. General improvements are the cordless faux wood blinds on many of the windows, and wall-mounted streaming TV. There is a fireplace inside and a fire-pit outside, along with a sauna that you can reserve time in. I recommend these cabins and the company that hosts. Fall and winter will provide great views of the "big" Lake as well as access to hiking trails. A great getaway for all!

Enjoyable stay on North Shore

The Gooseberry Falls area has so much to offer. Our property being so close makes it very convenient. The biking and hiking trail right across the road is such a plus. The hiking trail connected to our place makes is nice both in the summer and winter.
Please come back and stay longer!

Great location
Publié le 5 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayLoved the trails right outside your door. Very clean! Only issue: the flies. As the sun rose, the flies swarmed the windows like an Amityville Horror Film. Could not see where they were coming in; need an exterminator.

We are so lucky to have the great outdoors right at our fingertips, and our cleaning crew is our unsung heroes. We appreciate them so much, especially since we know that guests really just want a clean place to crash.
Now, about those pesky flies... We try our best to keep those buggers in check, but living on the Northshore means we're basically living in mosquito and fly central at certain times of the year. We do spray our property's and we've got fly swatters and bug spray in our suites, so feel free to get your inner ninja on and take down those buzzing intruders. And please, remember to shut the flue, windows, and doors tightly – we're trying to keep the great outdoors, well, outdoors.

Great location off Gitchi Gami trail

Only downside was the flies in the house. Could not figure out how they were getting in, must have killed 20 every day.

This location is truly enchanting! However, when the temperature drops and then rises again, black flies tend to appear all along the North Shore. While we provide a fly swatter and advise guests to keep the doors closed, we understand the inconvenience and wish these pesky bugs didn’t exist…

Wonderful stay and great location

Great Little Spot
