Publié le 23 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had to stay here because they allow dogs. The sauna was nice and we enjoyed the indoor fireplace. The beds were very squishy and not good for bad backs, the shower was very small, the sink had no place to put your toiletries (why they put everything on the bed), and they are very strict on dog noise.

Thank you for sharing your feedback about the beds. We value your input and have decided to replace them with new ones. We expect the new beds to be in place within a few weeks, and we appreciate your patience during this process.
We are happy to welcome dogs and understand that traveling with pets can sometimes be challenging. However, since this is a four-plex, we kindly ask dog owners not to leave their dogs alone, as barking may disturb other guests. And yes we are strict as to be curious to all our guests.
Who needs a shower when you have a sauna? Who needs a scrub when you can emerge from the sauna house looking like a slightly melted popsicle?

Convenient location for north shore adventures

Cons:
- super thin walls/floor…you hear everything from the 3 neighbors in this building. Made sleeping tough at times!
- cobwebs all over, made us question level of cleaning

This is an amazing location, and guests appreciate the range of activities that are so easily accessible. Guests need to be aware that this is a 4-plex condo, functioning much like a small boutique hotel.
Our walls are standard construction, not "excessively thin," but the noise from upstairs, such as jumping and dancing, can be heard downstairs. While most guests respect our quiet hours, this isn't always the case, and we do send polite reminders to all quest to be courteous of their downstair neighbors.
Regarding "cobwebs all over," we take cleanliness extremely seriously and promptly address any cleaning issues. Following this information, we thoroughly checked the property and found no cobwebs.
Cleaning is our top priority, and we will immediately address any issues to ensure they are rectified. Unfortunately, in this particular instance, we were unable to locate the reported issue. I firmly believe that all our other cleaning reviews are accurate and we will continue to strive to maintain our 5-star ranking.

Beautiful place to celebrate our wedding weekend!

We rented all 4 condos to have the property to ourselves for our wedding weekend, and it couldn’t have been more perfect at the Trailside Suites! Highly recommend to anyone traveling to the North Shore!

North Shore get-away

If you are fortunate, the sunrises here are truly breathtaking! The walk to Gooseberry Falls River from the property is an absolute must! We also highly recommend Iona Beach, which is less than a mile away!

Relaxing get away
Publié le 16 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWonderful stay. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay with 1 of your properties. Very relaxing. Next time though we will pay the extra and get the top condo. A nice addition would be a light under the counter in the .kitchen

We would love to host you again Becky. All of our units are wonderful to stay in. Some love the bottom floor units because they are easy access. But absolutely understand wanting an upper unit too. A bit better view and still have all the same amenities and privacy.

Great Location, Nice Ammenities
Publié le 8 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved our stay here! It was very close to all the hikes we wanted to do in Tettegouche & Goodeberry. We really enjoyed the deck & outdoor fire pits. It was a cozy place for an early fall weekend getaway. The only negative was we were in the lower unit & you can hear all the footsteps from the people upstairs. We would definitely stay here again!

Publié le 3 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat location. We hiked State park trails and biked to Gooseberry Falls, both right from property. Property amenities were very nice with firepit and sauna. Cabin was well stocked and very clean. I think we were hoping for a bit more lake view (distant, across highway, partial behind trees), but trail views were just lovely. Thanks for a great stay!

Glad you enjoyed your stay! We do our best to make sure cabins are clean and organized. Unfortunately, I can't do much about the view. There's a lot more green in the summer than the winter.

Great location and well supplied.
Publié le 19 août 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat location near gooseberry state park. Easy to get to the park early morning before the crowds. The property was as described, clean, and well cared for. The kitchen was well supplied for cooking and the outdoor grill worked great. We were on a lower unit and you can hear walking/noise from the unit above, but was not a big issue for us. We found that the mattresses in the double room were very soft and sunken in. The mattress in the single room was fine.
