Publié le 27 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband and I took care 4 yr old granddaughter for her 1st trip to the beach and everything was so convenient. I really like that fact that everything you may need is walking distance and just steps to the beach. Besides the beach I believe my granddaughter enjoyed the Jacuzzi most of all. The house itself was very nice, clean, and had everything we needed. If we return to Tybee I will definitely want to stay in this place again.

Family time
Publié le 16 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved our kids first time to beach and most of our first time to Tybee Island. It was cloudy so we missed out on sunrise photos. Any day at the beach is worth it. The location and the house was very nice. We enjoyed the Hot tub. Our host Bridget was super nice and helpful. We would stay again . Kudos to the police department for the boost log out car the first day there. Sgt Stuber thanks again!

relaxing stay
Publié le 9 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cottage is very comfortable and in an excellent location: close walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. In spite of being held hostage by Tropical Storm Debby for most of our stay, we were close enough to amenities to enjoy them during lulls in the storm.

Great place to stay!
Publié le 24 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was perfect for our needs and we plan to come back again and again. Very homey, and comfortable. The hot tub was very nice and relaxing. We had more than enough privacy and a very short walk to the beach. The ONLY thing that could have been better is the fact that we could not figure out the TV. Maybe it was just us, but we could not figure out how to use either tv, but to be honest it was nice to not have it on. Other than that this was the best stay and we will definitely be coming back.

Cute but Update Needed

P: A great location on Tybee.
N: Everything on the deck can be heard and seen by neighbors from their balconies/upper levels.
P: AC is perfect all the time.
N: Arrival: Directions unclear. Alley is tight. Difficult to bring luggage in. Difficult then, and each time, using the key storage. (Whether in beach storms or extreme heat, fumbling for a key is stressful.)
P: Bathroom right inside the only door in!

Wow, this is such a contrast to the reviews we have gotten, and I honestly must say much of your comments do not match up with the property or are not within our control. It sounds like this just was not the property for you. In walking through the property it is clean and it certainly would have been more helpful to us and future guests if you could have let us know if you found something that needed to be fixed or repaired, because again we can’t locate what you might be speaking of. We are on a residential street, but we also have curtains that can be pulled closed around the deck by the hot tub. I was at a loss as to what you meant by “alley”. I am guessing you are referring to the one-way street that was there long before we fell in love with the area, but I cannot figure out where you were struggling with your luggage. I am also at a loss about the key. We do have a key you have access to in case it is needed, but other than that we have a keyless entry for which you were provided a code. I reached out to you during your stay and never heard back from you. I always try to provide an opportunity for guests to let me know of any issues. I wish you had responded so I could have advised you of some of the above items that were there for your use and mentioned in the welcome letter you were provided prior to checking in.

Girl’s trip
Publié le 23 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayWe took a last minute trip to Tybee and Bridget’s place was exactly what we were looking for! The house itself was very clean and well stocked. The bed upstairs was very comfortable. The location couldn’t be beat, just steps to the beach, and a few minute walk to the pier, stores, and restaurants. The hot tub came in handy during a rainy day! We would definitely book again!
