On warm days, step outside to the large terrace for alfresco dining with sweeping countryside views. As the sun sets, gather around the outdoor firepit, toast marshmallows, and recount the day's adventures under the stars.

Discover Southern Snowdonia & the Welsh Coast:
Nestled on the southern edge of Eryri (Snowdonia National Park), this breathtaking region offers rugged mountains, rolling farmland, and miles of unspoiled coastline. Perfect for outdoor lovers, dog owners, and those looking to slow down and reconnect with nature.
Step outside to explore the Fathew Valley, where the dramatic peaks of Cadair Idris and the Tarren range invite adventure. Prefer a gentler pace? Ride the historic Talyllyn Steam Railway, one of the world’s oldest preserved railways and inspiration for Thomas the Tank Engine, offering a scenic journey through the mountains.
A short drive away, Cardigan Bay boasts some of the quietest and most dog-friendly beaches in Wales. Stroll along Tywyn Beach, watch for dolphins at Aberdyfi, or discover hidden sandy coves. Even in peak season, these shores remain less crowded than the north of the park.
For those who love a good walk with a pub at the end, a scenic riverside trail along the Afon Fathew leads to welcoming local inns, perfect for a well-earned drink. Whether you’re here to climb mountains, explore the coastline, or simply unwind, Southern Snowdonia offers the best of Wales—without the crowds.
