Willowbrae Chalet: Forest, Hot Tub, Pet friendly

Willowbrae Chalet is a quaint rustic cottage, privately located on a 2.4 acre old growth forested property bordering Pacific Rim National Park, within walking distance of Florencia Bay and Halfmoon via the Willowbrae Trail. This is a place to unplug and reconnect with nature and decompress from the busyness of life.

Custom designed and beautifully hand crafted by local craftsmen, Willowbrae Chalet features dramatic flared cedar log accents inside and out. Once inside you can follow the beautiful handcrafted log staircase upstairs to a large private loft bedroom with a king bed, adjacent to that room is a queen bedroom with an ensuite. Downstairs in the living room there is a queen size pullout couch to sleep an additional 2 guest. The Chalet also contains 2 full bathrooms with a clawfoot tub in the upstairs bathroom. There is a large private deck nestled in the old growth forest with hot tub, plus many other luxuries and amenities. Forest views from every part of the house!

Please note: To access the upstairs bathroom you must go through the queen bedroom
The cabin does not have a washer and dryer. There is a local laundry mat near by


During peak summer season (June 15 - Sept 15), 3 night minimum and all bookings must be back-to-back to avoid gaps.

3 night minimum stay for all Canadian Statutory Holidays

Dog friendly after owner approval. Please let us know about your dog with the reservation request. $50 (plus tax) per dog. 2 dog max

Strict Quiet Hours: 10pm to 8am - please be respectful of the neighbours and locals!

Accidental Damage Protection: The occasional accident is bound to happen during your holiday. The ADP covers accidental damages of up to $1000, provided damages are reported to Tofino Vacation Rentals before your check-out in writing. The ADP is a mandatory fee of $10 per night that is included in your nightly rate.

Cancellation Policy: We offer a 30 day cancellation policy from September through June and a 60 day policy from July through August. If you provide us with the 30 or 60 days required notice you will receive a full refund (minus a $73.50 non-refundable processing fee). If you cancel without the required days notice you will not receive a refund for your reservation.

It was a very cozy and clean stay. Beautiful surroundings, lovely soaps , everything was clean and welcoming. The fold out couch was nice and comfortable for our one son to sleep on. Would go back in a heart beat and i hope we can one day!

Really fantastic!
We really enjoyed our time in the cottage. Everything was super clean, the terrace with the whirlpool is a dream and the whole apartment is furnished to a very high standard. The directions and access to the house via a code are very easy and we were welcomed with a friendly personal letter and a delicious greeting. We also really liked the fact that we could do two trails from the hut to the beach. We can only recommend this house and even with three children it was pure relaxation. Thank you.

My wife and I were so impressed with this place! Very private. All cabins in the woods enough that you see no one else. Very close walking distance to amazing. Nice hottub for evevnings. What is not to love! 100% we will be back here.

Lovely and private. Well equipped for our needs, could have packed less for kitchen. A guide for the counter top oven would be helpful. We had the space and comfort that we needed and hoped for when we originally found the listing. Grateful for the experience and will definitely return.

We came out to for the first time to the island from Chilliwack, BC and Ottawa, ON to celebrate my sister and boyfriends birthdays. It was a great experience! We took our cousins that were visiting from the UK to stay in Ucluelet, and this was the perfect spot. Cozy west coast vibes, great location, beautiful view of the forest from every window, a hot tub and comfortable beds. Our stay was perfect and magical. Highly recommend ☺️

Property was as-described, set away from the other cabins on the property so it felt very secluded and peaceful (at the end of the road so no one else passes by, etc). Easy access to trails nearby, Ukee just a 5 minute drive away was perfect for heading out fishing in the morning. Note that this is much more of a "hotel" type experience than other listings you may have used on VRBO so expect to bring all kitchen essentials/etc that you may want as it's really just the basics provided. Would recommend staying here!

This cabin was just amazing! Our friends and us just loved the setting in the forest. The hot tub on the deck was just so relaxing! The cabin had everything we needed. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone, and we definitely will want to rent this place again! My only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

This is a wonderful location, private within walking distance to the beach trail! A very gorgeous, all wood cabin that had everything we needed. Very clean, quite, and an iconic west coast experience.
