Un hôtel décevant

Pour : Pour une nuit ou deux, cet hôtel est acceptable, mais trop de points faibles au regard des tarifs et des hôtels similaires.
Contre : Une piscine très mal tenue sur le plan de l'hygiène
Emplacement : Emplacement au calme, sans aucun commerce aux alentours.
L'hôtel est situé dans un quartier calme, mais sans intérêt particulier. Il est parfois nécessaire de rejoindre la route principale à 500 m pour trouver un transport. L'accueil est bon, le personnel compétent. La chambre familiale est agréable, suffisante pour quatre personnes. Le restaurant est triste, mais les repas sont de bonne qualité et le personnel disponible. Si la piscine située à l'intérieur de l'hôtel est jolie, les pigeons qui viennent s'y abreuver et s'y laver laissent une très mauvaise impression d'hygiène. Autre point d'amélioration : l'accès internet wifi n'est possible que dans le hall, et payant à l'heure, ce qui est un peu juste pour le statut revendiqué par cet hôtel.

Bon rapport qualité-prix, hôtel confortable
Publié le 24 août 2010 sur HotelsNotre choix s'est porté sur cet hôtel un peu au hasard, les 63% d'évaluations positives à l'époque sur cet hôtel nous inquiétait un peu pour les 37% restants. Nous avons tellement eu de déconvenues sur les chambres d'hôtel en Inde que nous ne attendions pas à un miracle pour le prix. Et pourtant, nous avons été agréablement surprises : l'hôtel est très bien placé, et il est vraiment charmant. Une seule critique parce qu'il faut en trouver une : les couloirs accédant aux chambres mériteraient un rafraîchissement... Les chambres quant à elles sont bien agencées, propres, et ont en plus du cachet ! Très agréable, de quoi se sentir bien, se poser enfin, déballer ses affaires, reconstituer son petit univers provisoire, vraiment une excellente surprise... Sur les 12 hôtels que j'ai fait en Inde, je lui donnerai la 3ème place, c'est tout à fait honorable ! Le bâtiment est joli tout de blanc vêtu, la piscine petite mais sympa, la terrasse un bon lieu de détente. Nous sommes arrivées en retard au petit déjeuner (pour une fois que nous dormions bien !), le personnel s'est mis en quatre pour nous servir quand même un petit déjeuner. Nous recommandons donc sans hésiter. Pour info notre chambre était en face de la piscine, peut-être y a-t-il moins bien, ne pas hésiter à en demander une autre si celle que l'on vous propose ne vous convient pas. En tout cas moi je resigne demain !

Stayed at Swaroop for 3 nights with family.
Property itself is lovely but the treatment by management and staff we received spoilt the stay.
Arrived a little earlier than check in. Everywhere else we stayed (and usual for most hotels) they would check us in and look after our bags and let us know when the room was ready. Would not check us in. Left our bags away from the reception next to the lift.
Check in when room was ready took about 20 minutes to scan each passport and visa - which could have easily been done earlier while we were hanging around.
Room was very big and spacious and clean. Comfortable beds. TV didn't work.
On check in we were told breakfast was included. So we went to breakfast first morning. Very poor breakfast buffet. Coffee was little nescafe sachets supplied in the room anyway. Cereal was stale. Toast and chips!
We didn't eat much.
Next morning went to breakfast and after eating a bowl of the stale cereal each and one cup of coffee we were presented with a bill for 1500 INR (approx $26). We were obviously surprised not only by the bill (as we had been told breakfast was included) but also by the amount! No menu or mention of price on display.
Queried at reception. Now told not included! Had we known we would not have returned. Explained this and that we had only eaten cereal so amount was excessive. Response was completely unreasonable. Manager accused us of being liars and stealing breakfast and threatened to call the police!

La cassaforte non funzionava , ventilatori a pale troppo rumoroso, bagno pulito ma con segni di calcare che lo fanno sembrare sporco. Interruttore della ventola del bagno NELLA doccia. In due giorni di soggiorno non mi hanno rifatto la camera. Purtroppo me se sono accorto al mio rientro solo a sera tardi e non potevo chiederlo. L’ho detto il giorno della partenza alla reception , ma non hanno nemmeno finto le scuse. Non lo consiglio

Location is a bit off-putting, but the hotel itself was great. Lovely pool, nice food, clean, large and well designed rooms. Service was excellent, as was the spa.

BAR IN THE HOTEL WAS VERY NOISY WITH LOUD MUSIC TILL MID NIGHT WAS NOT ABLE TO SLEEP AT NIGHT DUE TO LOUD MUSIC

The hotel property was nice and had potential, but the room we were given was terrible. The bedsheets were not washed or kept properly, the bathroom was dingy, and there was dust everywhere in the room.

Wonderful hotel on a lake in Udaipur
Publié le 17 oct. 2023 sur HotelsWonderful hotel facing one of the lakes in Udaipur, close to everything but still quiet and calm. Beautiful pool in courtyard and three restaurants with delicious food. The service was excellent - the staff was always friendly and accommodating.
