Not worth

Publié le 14 janv. 2024 sur Hotels
No Wi-Fi any where, I don’t mind that, but, advertising with the statement of free Wi-Fi is a lie. It is not acceptable. I faced no electricity for all night too. No small carts are buggies are available for transport of guests or passengers. Evening walks with iPhone light is scary and impossible on rainy nights. Room charges are too high when there is no phone connection from the room to the front desk, definitely no Wi-Fi. Supposedly, you do not have a Thakkedy SIM card, then you have no communication with the outside world. If something happens in the evening or weekend and you need help, very disappointing to find that the front office is closed. In Kerala this property charge similar to Taj, Green Cove, Kovalam, but no comparison to the view of Taj’s Ocean view or Backwater FREE boat ride or Chef’s special sea fish or an Ayurvedic Spa. Incredible Taj breakfast has no comparison. Will not pay this much money to Carmelia ever again. I canceled my last night out of security reasons. It is not worth for even one night

Poor excuse for an Hotel

This is an old run down hotel with a serious need to upgrade or reinvent itself and to become more modern in its styling.

Great Location

Camelia Haven Resort is set in the most wonderful and enchanting location - among the tea plantation and forests in Kerala. It has its own spice gardens and the Reception staff are pleased to give a free tour with authoritative commentary. We stayed there two nights and had the place to ourselves- including the swimming pool area. We highly recommend Carmelia Haven Resort for a short break or as a stop over on the way to the main destination as was the case with us. Very helpful and courteous staff.

Horrible. Stay away from this dump. Bedbugs are not fun, and you don't want to bring them home.

Excellent outdoors and food make it worthwhile!

Pour : Food, Outdoors, and Service.
Contre : manage hot water situation more effectively.
Excellent curb appeal and outdoors -- pleasure driving into. Pleasant staff interactions. Spacious and reasonably well kept rooms and bathrooms. The lunch ordered from the menu was worth the wait! I was informed many days ahead that there is a compulsory payment for "Gala dinner" on Christmas eve; I was a bit upset since I don't like anything imposed on it. It turned out to be really great: all four in my family, including two teenagers agreed that the food, arrangements, decor, entertainment, and the service at the Gala dinner was fantastic!
