It was very well planned out. very spacious rooms and good service. Would love if there was WiFi and maybe breakfast included in the package.

I'm usually lazy about writing reviews, though I rely on them heavily when booking all of my travel. The horrible experience that my husband and I had at this property forces me to share so others won't experience what we did. I'll first begin by saying that I travel extensively globally and I never expect 'American' uniform comfort when traveling abroad. I appreciate all countries as their own cultural experience. Aryaan Resort was a horrible hotel, no matter where its located. Don't be fooled by the pictures - they are staged. This property is old, unkept, run-down, bare, dirty. We prepaid for 3 rooms/3 nights. We used 2 rooms, for 1 night only. We immediately checked out the next morning. We called my husband's friend at airport and told him to not come, to stay in Mangalore. Truthfully - No wifi. The front desk could not run credit cards, insisting everyone to pay in cash. Our rooms had no wifi. No mgr. on duty to help. Bathroom had ANTS crawling over the vanity, coming up out of the drain. Ants in the bath towels. Chair broke & couch had fresh stains, bedspread cover was stained. Restaurant table nasty stains. Hotel power shut off 6X. Door lock was broke. We reached out to Expedia. Here is response: "This is about your refund request for the reservation at Aryaan Resort & Residences, Udupi. We have advocated your case with the property and due to their policy in relation to your reservation, we regret to inform you that they have denied your request." Very unfortunate.
