We had a great time staying at the house for about 3 weeks. There was a grocery store within walking distance (always helpful) as well as a shopping center a little further away if you don't mind walking 15 minutes, but you can always take one of the bikes and bike to the shopping center in 5 minutes. Although the house is small (typically Dutch), it had everything we needed and when we had a small issue, Cora made sure it was resolved very quickly. I can highly recommend this house if you want to stay in the neighborhood of Amsterdam (you can easily get on public transport into the city).

Perfect for relaxed family holiday

My parents (late 50s), husband, brother and children (36 yo) stayed here and we had a lovely time. The property was well furnished and comfortable, and we had all the household items we needed for the week. We all slept well and enjoyed being able to sit, cook and eat together and enjoy each other's company. It was also really nice that the neighborhood playground is right outside the front door, so our kids could play whenever they wanted. With the windows open at night we got an excellent cross breeze and the house was very cool. It was great that the grocery shops were only a short walk away, as was the train stop to get into Amsterdam or out to other towns. We were able to travel with no difficulty. Cora was very kind and hospitable and always answered my messages quickly. We really enjoyed our stay and hope we can come back again some time!

Central location

We enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed riding the bikes to the Amstel river, and the convenient location to restaurants and grocery stores. The nearby Da Haar castle was a highlight for us.

Loved Amsterdam

We had a great time at this location. Close to bus and train station. Walking distance to get groceries. The beds were very comfortable and lots of room for 5 ladies. The host is awesome. Thank you Cora.

Great stay for a family

Finding a place to stay in Amsterdam with a family of 5 is pretty challenging or expensive or both. Cora's place was neither and was perfect for our holiday. It was very quiet and comfortable, with plenty of space and the added convenience of having the train station and grocery store both extremely close. Couldn't recommend this place any higher

Great place to stay

I stayed here with my family for a week while visiting the Netherlands. The home is very clean and was as advertised. It is a short walk to the Uithoorn Station where you can easily visit Amsterdam. The available are great to explore the area, which is a very safe and clean area. There are two grocery stores within a short 4 minute walk. The host was great with communication before and during the trip. Highly recommend!

The description was exactly as stated and the place was comfortable, clean and the host was exceptional! We just wish it was a little close to Amsterdam as we couldn't quite figure out the Train into town and ended up Ubering into town and back. Excellent place!

Great stay at Uithoorn

Cora’s place was very comfortable and suitable for our family of 5 for a visit to Amsterdam. Beds are comfortable, water pressure amazing , neighborhood is calm and orderly. Grocery store in walking distance , tram 25 in walking distance and easy access to the city. We had a great time ! Thanks Cora and Hans .

Fantastic space just outside Amsterdam

Very well appointed, comfortable and clean house in Uithoorn, easily accommodating a family of five. The area is family friendly with a play park opposite the house. The tram station is less than a 10 minute walk away which will take you into Amsterdam South. The supermarkets are a 5 minute walk away. The host generously provides bikes which we took on a 28km bike ride to Amsterdam Bos and back. Cora the host was very responsive and friendly. We can highly recommend this property.

Uithoorn Stay for Taylor Swift

This Apartment was very well appointed and very close to a grocery store. We did do some cooking and found everything we needed. We did not get a chance to use the bikes but they looked well cared for. It was a reasonably priced option for the concert. Taxis/Ubers to central Amsterdam were around 30 Euros and 40 to 55 Euros to Schiphol. Buses were available but took over an hour and with 4 people the cost savings was not worth it to us.

We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing we didn't like was they kept telling us to turn the tv volume down because I guess the neighbors are very close by and very sensitive to sound. But other than that, we really enjoyed it.

Fantastic place and location

The house was clean and comfortable. It fit our family of 7 very well. The walk to the grocery store was convenient. As well as the walk to Uithoorn Bustation, which allowed us direct transit to downtown Amsterdam and other connections out of the city. I highly recommend this VRBO listing.

Quiet and Very Nice

Our stay was amazing. The place was very nice and had everything we needed and more. The beds were comfortable and neighborhood was good. We took the bikes out for a calming bike ride. The bus station and grocery store are in walking distance. It was easy getting to and from Central Station in the heart of Amsterdam. Cora is the best!

Excellent place for a family! The house was clean and the kitchen very well equipped. Beds are comfortable and the house is nicely furnished. We appreciated the easy walking distance to grocery stores and other shopping. Cora and Hans were pleasant to deal with and their extra help finding bike rentals for our small children was much appreciated!

Lovely house

Lots of space, very clean, well equipped kitchen. Nicely decorated. Allergy friendly bed stuff (at least our bedroom). We visited our relatives near by so those bikes were big bonus. 2 supermarkets near by (walking distance). Around 10 minutes bike drive to charming village center next to Amstel river. We didn’t need a car since public transport is excellent to use. We loved our 9 days stay at this house. Owner is very nice lady, we flew from US and we were lucky since check inn was possibly at early morning. Untill next year.
