The cost of the room was significant for the quality, however it was 1 night in the middle of Easter, so beggars should not be choosy or complain!

Thank you Phil for the review, how lucky are you being able to secure a 1 night booking over Easter, where staff get paid penalty rates on public holidays to clean the room you occupied.

I felt so isolated and vulnerable in one of 2 rooms behind/underneath the main building that my teenage daughter and i moved to what was probably the only room left available in the area. Security of the room was lousy, it was musty and poorly cleaned.

The first we have heard about any issues is via this review, if you had any concerns you have failed to contact management whom are available 24/7. We have checked the security of the room and it is fine, as to it being musty and poorly cleaned, again upon inspection today this is not the case.

False advertising - we booked this place with the understanding there would be free wifi. When we arrived, there was a laminated card, presumably for all rooms, that wifi was not included, but we could try if we wanted to. It didn't work! What place does not provide free wifi, especially when it's advertised as being included?
Our room did not have any cups or spoons and we couldn't ask for any, due to the reception being manned remotely.
The bathroom was filthy!
We could hear all movement upstairs and whenever someone ran water.
We will certinaly not be staying here again!

Hi Janet, all you had to do was call the number provided for assistance. Upon inspection of your room on departure there was cups and and spoons so a little confused as to why you said there was none.

Towel hang in bathroom still wet, looked like someone used them before. Which I don’t think it happens but I thought it needed to be set better

Hard to rate staff when we didn't see a single person - remote/self check-in/check-out facilities. Easy enough process but not a fan of this style of "service". Cabin was clean, bed comfortable - but overall quite dated. Television antenna not connected so no standard TV available (lucky enough to crack into previous guest's Netflix !!) Was very quiet despite being located right on a main roadway.

Thank you for your review, in regards to the tv we have inspected this and it was working, so not sure why you could not get the standard TV.

There was no one on reception but a phone contact although checking in was advertised from 2pm. I had paid fully but was then required to pay $100. This was to have been returned in 4 to 5 days.

Hi Josephine, it is always disappointing when guests leave a review sore based on their ignorance by NOT reading the Terms and Conditions of the motel you are staying at before you click that you agree (that way you would have been aware that there was a security deposit and that reception is not manned).
