Scenic setting, cozy cabin
Publié le 27 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayComfortable cabin set in a nice area with view of the creek from the porch. Nice size rooms, very clean, with just about everything provided for your stay. Driving distance to several points of interest, PA Grand Canyon, Cherry Springs State Park, Kinzua Bridge, etc. Several small towns to walk around, especially nice was Wellsboro, you can spend a day there. All in all, very enjoyable stay.

Anniversary Fall Foliage Trip
Publié le 23 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband and I stayed at the Hemlock Hideaway for a couple of nights on an anniversary get away weekend. The cabin is in a great location. Easy driving distance to many of the surrounding state parks that we visited. The fall colors were beautiful in mid October! The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything you could need. The gas furnace in the den works great and kept the cabin nice and cozy warm. It was actually nice to go off line for a couple of days with no wi-fi and limited T-mobile service. But, with no wifi it was difficult to map out our itinerary. Try buying a paper map anywhere these days. It's nearly impossible! I would still recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a comfortable place to rest, relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside of rural PA.

Beautiful Getaway

Love all the new updates.The owner has always been very pleasant and helpful with us. Looking forward to coming back next year. A sure 5 star all the way around.

Peaceful getaway

We were impressed by kitchen supplies, laundry room and towel supply. We have not had that experience elsewhere. The most enjoyable was sitting on the porch and listening to the creek while the storms were moving in. Great weekend for all. Thanks so much!!
