I stopped staying here a few years ago due to poor staff and and bad facilities. I decided to try it again and was very pleased to say that the staff that was there before was gone and the new staff was great. Also the breakfast was much better. I will have to say that the shower area and the furniture needs some upgrades but the room was very clean. Just sad to see that there are no pets allowed anymore, so if I have to visit again, I will have to stay somewhere else.

Disappointing

The room was very spacious and at first look clean but later we discovered there was trash and food underneath the pull out sofa from a previous guest. Service also was disappointing. I called the front desk and asked for clean towels and the lady said she would ask housekeeping to bring some up but they never did.

Property needs updated and better cleaning Not enough bath and hand towels to be replaced each day. Walls in rooms needed to be patched and painted. Carpet needs cleaned and replaced in some areas.

The overall stay was good. The pool was out of order with no notice on website about its status. The room had sections that looks like they had need repaired and still had spackle marks. The toilet would occasionally make a filling noise but not enough to wake you during the night.

Very Disappointing Experience

Was very disappointed with the overall stay. Even when staying at a budget property, one still expects the advertised basics to be available. Room was well outdated. Drawers in the dresser kept sliding out to block the path between the bed. Shower door would not close - and obviously so. Fire water sprinkler in the ceiling was covered with a small plastic bag. (Guess that probably wouldn't have worked in the case of a fire.) Front desk staff was rude. Checkout was extremely slow. Where's the management / ownership? There are plenty of other hotels in the immediate area for my next stay.

The continental breakfast was disappointing. The coffee was barely warm, the scrambled eggs were awful; they went in the trash, the waffles were undercooked, and the biscuits were tough. Not a happy start to the day.
