Publié le 30 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayLocation is great. The yard was covered in hickory nuts making it hard to walk. Plus, my car was damaged from the falling nuts, nowhere else to park but under the tree. The kitchen only had small sauce pans, and one small skillet-Had to go to town to buy a pot to cook dinner for my family. Only one roll of toilet paper for three days days

I live 4 houses away and a simple phone call could have been made. There are TWO frying pans just stored in a different low cabinet than the pots. There was toilet paper stored above the tub, apologies for not putting it out. There is a place to park away from the hickory nuts, more fell than in the previous 3 years together. I can not control nature and have been spending an hour most days raking them!

Best Friends Weekend

The owner popped in on Saturday and we had a wonderful chat She was very welcoming to me, my friend and my dog. Check in and check out were both easy-peasy. Lakefront location was excellent and accommodations were cozy, homey and super inviting. Would definitely rent again!

Perfect for the occasion
Publié le 6 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayCame with my hubby and dog. The view is beautiful. My family lives nearby and we were doing a burial ceremony for my father who passed a year ago. It was the perfect place to gather and grill while the kids swam and kayaked. Would definitely stay again

Sisters Weekend Getaway

Beautiful lake location

Eclipse weekend
Publié le 24 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayGrateful that the price was not jacked up for the eclipse weekend like so many others. Overall the place is great. Just know that there is no dishwasher and that the previous tenants many not have been great dishwashers.

Sorry about the dishes. Dishwasher had to be removed due to the sensitivity of the lot being near the lake. I am not able to wash the dishes when I clean if they are all put away. I always wash dishes I use before when I stay at a guest house, you never know. If they are left in the sink I do wash them! Thanks so much for the 5 stars, we have been making many improvements!

Just spent $10,000 on new windows improving one of the best lake front views at this lake. There’s a dock for a boat and kayaks to get out on the water. Rather than taking any money from the house, I constantly improve this property that the lot is valued more than most houses. The fee to stay here is similar to a single hotel room in nearby downtown Bloomington and has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen , and even toys for children. I allow pets also so I am puzzled by this review. The pictures show what is being offered.

Publié le 30 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayVery relaxing, perfect little space of paradise. My husband and I spent Thanksgiving ‘23 there with our 4 fur kids. They loved the space as much as we did. Owner was super nice and very responsive if we needed anything. Already trying to plan our next getaway
