Exceeded Our Expectations!

Firstly, the responses by the hosts, Christina and Preban, were very much appreciated - responses to our questions were quick and so detailed! I had no doubt what to expect and we were able to plan for a wonderful vacation. The property was in excellent condition, inside and out. Everything was very clean. We appreciated the hot tub which was well-maintained and we did our job to continue to apply the necessary chemicals. We really appreciated the bug screen on the gazebo (bugs in May can be overwhelming but as regular campers, we were not discouraged to enjoy the outdoors). The dock was an amazing place to enjoy the hot weather (and some recreational fishing) and the kayaks were in excellent condition. The firepit was well-equipped with great seating and gave us an opportunity to enjoy the cottage nightlife outdoors. The cottage was stocked with everything you would commonly need, inside and out, for a stress-free stay. The TV streaming was not used much because the weather was so perfect but having the choice for a rainy/cold day would be nice. Internet wifi was very strong everywhere on the property. We have already told many friends and family about the place and look forward to the next opportunity to stay and bring some additional guests with us and use the loft. Perfect Cottage Getaway

Cozy, excellent view and HOTTUB!!!!
Publié le 3 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThe place was easy to get to. Right off the main road. As we walked in the door we were greated with a stunning view of the lake accross the open concept main floor. We immediately knew that our stay was going to be excellent! The windows in the living room overlook the beautiful lake. There's a hottub off the kitchen we used every day! The exposed rock in the master bedroom was a neat feature. This place is at the top of our list for places we would revisit!!!

Beautiful fall colours
Publié le 6 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe stayed here for the first week of October. Three or four connected lakes with around 100 cottages. We only saw a few people and two boaters. It was very peaceful. Cottage is modern and well stocked with all the conveniences.

Golden Valley September to Remember
Publié le 27 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayEnjoyed beautiful late summer weather for 4 nights at Preben and Christina's cottage. Everything you need to enjoy the beautiful area is provided including fire pit with wood, fishing kayaks, BBQ and large stocked kitchen.
Excellent value considering the size of the cottage and amenities.

2nd Stay Just As Great As The First

The cottage has all the comfort features of home but placed near the first nd of a quiet scenic lake. Preben & Christina are wonderful hosts that really care about their guests' comfort during their stay. Thanks again for sharing your space with us and we look forward to next year.

Beautiful cottage
Publié le 22 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe cottage was beautiful. Had all the modern amenities, was big and comfortable. There were a few very hot days (90+) so AC would have been nice. Lake was beautiful and the hot tub was a nice treat!

Great time

Large property that is also quite private. Large dock by the water that allows you to dock your own boat. We also fished off the dock and managed to catch a decent sized pike.
Hosts are very responsive and answered all my questions. We managed to organize renting the extra apartment space at the last minute hassle free.
