Rent three cabins for the price of one!
The Log Cabin at Warner’s Camp is a true piece of art. This property consists of a three bed, two bath log cabin, a studio cabin with additional bedroom and bathroom, plus an additional sleeper cabin (a charming enclosed lean-to, overlooking a stream).
We are so excited to share our second property with you. Our design work has been featured in Homes & Gardens, Travel + Leisure, and Apartment Therapy.
Located just across the street from the Original Warner’s Camp, this property has direct access to the Ausable River. A hot tub, sauna, and high end foosball table provide endless relaxation after a long day of hiking or skiing at Whiteface.
The Log Cabin at Warner's Camp is a scene out of a storybook. Huge interlocking logs support an a-framed second story. The main floor, consisting of a kitchen, dining room, bedroom and bathroom, features incredible shaved logs and custom woodwork.
We’ve updated the kitchen to include high end appliances by ZLINE. The dining room has seating for ten people and opens up to our backyard patio, complete with a smokeless fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs, a propane grill, picnic table, and a striking cedar sauna. Step out of the queen bedroom on the first floor for direct access to our luxurious cedar barrel hot tub.
Climb up to the second floor of the Log Cabin to enjoy our parlor; a lovely sitting room with foosball, roku tv, and a beverage fridge. The second floor also has an additional bathroom with a clawfoot soaker tub, a queen bedroom, and double bedroom.
The outbuildings on this property offer your group a variety of private sleeping options:
The studio cabin features a private bathroom with yet another clawfoot soaker tub, a wood burning stove, a queen bed, a mini fridge and a coffee marker. This small cabin, located on the edge of our property, is steps away from a seasonal pond that is teeming with life each spring. Enjoy the sounds of bullfrogs at night.
The lean-to cabin is a must-do Adirondack experience with a luxurious twist. Unlike your typical camping lean-to, this one has been heated and insulated for year round sleeping. The lean-to cabin consists of a double bed facing large windows that overlook a seasonal stream.
Spring is one of our favorite times of year at this property as the pond and stream are so much fun to watch. Follow the stream into the woods and explore uncharted territory with cascading waterfalls. Due to ground water patterns in our area, the stream occasionally dries out in August and September. That said, the Ausable River located across the street is flowing year round. Enjoy a direct walking path to the river where you can fish and swim.
Guest access:
Full access to all three buildings on the property:
The Log Cabin, the Studio Cabin, and the Lean-to
We've carved in a private path for the exclusive use of guests who book the Log Cabin to access the river and swimming hole across the street. Please note that the riverbanks and swimming hole areas are shared with our other property and the occasional neighbor.
Other things to note:
>> The fifth bedroom is a converted lean-to cabin. Guests who choose to make use of this "glamping" cabin will have to use the bathroom inside the main cabin as the lean-to does not have running water. The lean-to is heated, insulated, and safe to sleep in year round. A row of string-lights illuminates the walk from the lean-to to the main cabin.
>> All bedrooms have AC, except for the lean-to cabin, which has a ceiling fan instead.
>> We charge an extra nightly fee of $10 per person for each person after 6 people (VRBO will add these fees on automatically before you book if you enter the guest count accurately).
>> Send us a message if you plan to bring a pet. Additional cleaning fee of $75 per pet required.
>> Guests must agree to additional hot tub, sauna, and wood stove safety rules. The hot tub is serviced regularly by our maintenance team.
>> Firewood is provided and your first fire is on us! Please replace any additional logs used.
>> Please ensure that all members of your group are made aware of our house rules. We expect you to return the property to us in the same condition in which you received it, aside from the bedding and towels, which we will turn over. You'll find our full checkout procedures printed in our guest guide.
>> Our cleaners work hard to ensure the property is perfect for each group. Please respect their time by checking out promptly at 10am.
>> We are located in a somewhat remote area. The house is on Route 9N, a scenic state highway, and backs up to miles of protected state parklands. You can see a couple neighboring homes from sides of the house, while the fire pit area out back feels very secluded. We love our location as we can quickly pop into town, but still have privacy.
>> Due to our location, cell service is spotty. Enable WiFi calling on your phone to make and receive calls.
>> Our well water tastes and smells a bit like sulfur. It's completely safe and potable. We drink it while we are there, but you might consider bringing bottled water.
>> Expect to encounter wildlife. We regularly see turkeys and deer on the property. During the spring, the bullfrogs and tadpoles are plentiful near the seasonal pond. There will be bugs! A cost of being in the woods and close to water. Consider packing bug spray, and please keep all screens to the house closed (even in the winter).
