Nice cabin in the woods
Publié le 15 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe owners are great folks. The cabin was clean and everything worked. WIFI worked well. Nice gas stove to cook on, and plenty of cookware to use. Private location. Nice porches to sit on and just enjoy the trees and birds. Nice trail to hike right out of the cabin, and other hiking opportunities nearby.

Publié le 29 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was so nice & peaceful, brought food with us and didn't leave until check out This place was had anything you could have needed in the kitchen to make a large family meal or just a bowl of soup, the beds where comfortable & clean the bathrooms where a little small, but it was fine. The hot tub is an older model, but it was fine for two people.

Perfect mountain escape

The cabin is clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with anything you could need. The property is quiet and peaceful with the front deck an excellent place to simply sit, read a book, play music, or watch the wildlife. The hosts are very kind and graciously recommended places to visit and see while in the area. We had a phenomenal time and hope to be back soon!

Excellent Stay, just not quite perfect
Publié le 16 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayEverything was terrific about our stay. Rhona was extremely communicative and helpful. The chain that flushes the toilet broke from normal use, and she was extremely gracious about the issue. There was no propane in the grill when we first arrived, but they rushed up with a fresh tank within 5 minutes. The wifi wasn't working when we first arrived, but Rhona kept us updated about it getting back up. I think some of these issues could be avoided in the future by the owners, but overall extremely minor inconveniences to what was an absolutely delightful stay. They are terrific!

Peaceful and secluded

I enjoyed the amenities very much at this property such as the kitchen utensils & spices, jacuzzi, laundry. We explored the Smoke Hole Cavern area and relaxed at the property. Great getaway spot!
