A great escape
Publié le 22 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe loved our one night in this yurt. The July landscape was stunning, the yurt and surrounding deck allowed our family of 8 plenty of room to spread out. We only took non-prep food, so we didn't use the fire or propane. It's essentially glorified camping. It was easy to find. Be prepared for a long-feeling 6 miles each way on gravelly, not-very-smooth Ant Flat Road. Our large SUV had no problem. Not sure how our small sedan would have done. We've left feedback for some things for the owners. We loved it.

Publié le 23 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayThis Utah Yurt was rugged and isolated. Bring any amenities you need with you. I also suggest your own generator too if you want non-19th century means of heating. Great place to get away from it all.

Glad you had a fun time Carlin! Getting away from everything at the yurt is awesome. The 360 degree views on the tall deck is truly magical. And the stars at night are nothing short of impressive.
The yurt is stocked with everything you need to do cooking on a double burner stove (propane provided). There is also an outdoor BBQ grill--park style. There is kitchenware, dishes, pots, utensils, etc. All you need to bring is your food, water, and a sleeping bag.
Our wood burning stove is something most guests love about the yurt. That warm glow and crackling of the fire. That wood stove was actually made in this century :) If you are not familiar with how to heat with a wood stove then we can certainly guide you on its proper use. That place can get toasty if you use the stove correctly.

Excellent getaway place
Publié le 9 mai 2022 sur HomeAwaySpacious, well-equipped yurt, and deck with beautiful views of the hills, mountains and sunsets. The property is somewhat remote, and thus very peaceful. A truly enjoyable experience.

Great backcountry getaway
Publié le 18 janv. 2021 sur HomeAwayWe came up with a small group of friends to celebrate a birthday. The yurt was clean, the communication with the manager was responsive and thorough and we had a blast! 10/10 would recommend for a friend getaway or a family retreat!!
