Hôtel tre bien situé et personnel très agréable.
Chambre solo un peu vieillotte et surtout mal insonorisée (pas de double vitrage, bruits de la rue)

Dirty and noisy
Publié le 22 mai 2019 sur HotelsI stayed 3 nights at Apollo Hotel Utrecht for a business trip in May 2019. I booked a Deluxe room.
The 2 things that come in my mind when I think about the Apollo Hotel in Utrecht is dirty and noisy. I had to ask to change room because when I get into the first room the floor was dirty, the bed showed a mark like if someone sat on it, the bathroom was tiny and worst part, the bath tube was fool of hair. The second room was a bit cleaner but nothing fancy there. I could not turn on the TV and it didn't not come with a good wifi connection. Besides don't expect to sleep well because the hotel is close to the main streets so it's really noisy.
Hopefully there are good points. The hotel is close to the mall so lot of shops and restaurants. The bed was quite confortable. The room has at disposal an iron and an iron table. For coffee lovers, there is a Nespresso machine with capsules. Other than that, we need to think twice to find other positive aspects.
I can't tell about the breakfast, I didn't take it !
Definitely far far away from a 4 star hotel. So I would not stay again in that hotel and of course I do not recommend it.

I am very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay at our hotel. All of our rooms should always be clean, I will speak with the housekeeping manager about this review. Next to this I am sorry to hear that you experienced some noise issues, we have a quiet zone in the hotel as well, where you will not have this issue.

hotel très confortable mais sur une grande rue bruyante beaucoup de bruits la nuit suite aux personnes faisant la fête .tres souvent réveillée

Perfect location
Publié le 7 mai 2019 sur HotelsPerfect location in Utrecht, just a few minutes from the train station and a minute away from the bars and restaurants near the canal. Kind staff and easy access when you get back at night. The hotel is good but it is clear that it has been a few years since the last touch up. It does not look run down but it's not 'new' either.

J'ai bien aimé : Le petit déjeuner. L'emplacement de l'Hôtel dans le centre ville .
Je n'ai pas aimé la taille des chambres et le bruit ( très mauvaise insonorisation )

It is very good to hear that you liked our breakfast and location.
At the hotel we have a lot of different sizes of our hotel rooms. We have rather small ones and fairly big ones, due to that our hotel is a round building. If you would choose to stay at our hotel again, you can always request a big room. Next to this soundproofing of our hotelrooms will improve next year when the building is going to be renovated.
