Publié le 23 août 2019 sur HotelsUn séjour de 2 nuits parfait, tente impeccable et plutot luxieuse, accueil très sympathique, feu de camp le soir charmant avec chamallow barbecue pour les enfants. Safari magnifique et remarquablement organisé, prenez la journée complète, ça vaut la peine. Personnel aux petits soins.

best laid plans
Publié le 8 nov. 2018 sur HotelsAs it turns out, we did an inadequate planning job for this part of our trip. Big Game is a tent complex intended to combine lodging and "safari" activity. We had arranged the latter separately at a different venue, and looked to Big Game as a fun lodging alternative. While it offered much more luxury (e.g., bathrooms, some electricity) than might be expected while camping, it wasn't exactly plush, and with the additional complication of heavy rain, the overall experience was less than ideal. There seemed to be some confusion about our reservation (two tents), as Big Game was initially unprepared for the two children in our party. Staff was gracious and anxious to accommodate, but little hitches caused some unnecessary confusion. We spoke with other guests who seemed to confirm that a more comprehensive plan on our part would have produced a better experience. At the same time -- a number of nights in a tent during the rainy season is very different from the same nights in a hotel room.

Publié le 9 avr. 2018 sur Hotels很特殊的體驗，在sri lanka享受有如在非洲的感覺。Manager 行前介紹很詳盡，Full board的安排讓我們能完全體驗在帳篷與營地的氣氛。 晚上的營火晚宴令人印象深刻，大家圍著營火靜靜的與自己同伴吃著晚餐。早晨的 Udawalawe Safari 園區內也提供經驗豐富且努力讓我們看到動物的嚮導，直接從園區出發省去了接駁浪費的時間。 看完了大象，回營地整裝check out 的時候，竟然讓我們看到雌雄一對的孔雀從我們帳蓬門口經過。即使洗澡設備畢竟是在營地，無法如旅館般完善，但是也很舒適了。床很軟，晚上伴著星星與蟲鳴入眠。在這裡我跟我同伴都留下了美好的回憶

Great staff, but By no means luxury
Publié le 16 mars 2018 sur HotelsWas not a luxury camping experience as advertised, more tent with a toilet and that’s about it. Fan hardly worked and the room was filled with creatures. Toilet area stunk as there was no trap to waste to keep smells out.
Shower didn’t work, but as a plumber I managed to fix it, was clogged with gunk in shower head.
Food in the evening could have been excellent as setting was great surrounded by fire, but unfortunately the food was cold and pretty average for the price paid.
Safari was the highlight but you can get a taxi to the park entrance and save yourself a lot of money.
The staff was great, shame the rest was poor
