Everything was 6 stars. Located inside the private game reserve - you are picked up at the gates - being 30 minutes rough terrain drive from Sediba and thereafter are made to feel like special guests. Only 6 lodges in use (8 max) means total of 12 guests when the park was fully booked. The staff could not be more friendly, helpful, and genuinely interested. The rooms truly luxurious and spacious. Fluffy white towels changed several times a day. We had an entirely private deck overlooking the valley, bathtub inside, hot tub outside. The communal pool was very cold (early Sept) but most people stayed in their lodges when not in the restaurant or on the drive. The chef is talented and although a set menu, happy to offer alternatives. Our guide, Mike, was friendly, passionate about everything around him and entertaining and very talented - driving whilst tracking and spotting and commentating on animals, birds, plants, everything. It's a smaller reserve with rocky terrains, making the driving an off road experience and spotting animals a little more challenging than some of the open parks but thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night, 12 drive experience (we saw animals to and from the gates). Martha, Martin, Nadia and all of the staff were exceptional.

We had an incredible stay at Sediba. Firstly, the staff are incredible. Martin, Martha, Bornwell, Nadia and the whole Sediba team were so friendly, welcoming and nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was exceptional and the service the same. The team know each guest so well so you feel as if you have such a unique and personal experience. The lodges are extremely spacious and comfortable. Bornwell is so knowledgeable and made sure we got to see as many animals as possible. It was an unforgettable experience and we hope to be back in the future!

Stayed for a few days, amazing holiday in every aspect. The property and Reserve are great, the staff are amazing. Next visit already booked ….

Management neglected to apply Covid-19 regulations on the use of alcohol. Grouping of 4 visitors (plus baby) brought alcohol on terrain and consumed it at swimming pool as well as at dinner. Not acceptable and consistent with national regulations. Finer attention to maintenance can be paid e.g opening of blinds in room, dimming of lights, etc.

Thank you for your feedback and comments. To state on an International Booking platform that we do not comply to Covid -19 regulations on the use of alcohol is a very irresponsible and unprofessional statement! We, management and staff, do not have the legal right to search the luggage of arriving guests to determine if alcohol are brought onto the premises. WE DID NOT SELL ANY ALCOHOL AT OUR ESTABLISMENT I might add that empty liquor bottles were found in numerous rooms, during your stay at the Lodge. Some of our guests were seen removing liquor from their private vehicles on arrival at the Reserve. Pity you could not discuss this with Management
