I booked a stay at this property with high hopes based on reviews. I received a call the day before the reservation informing me that there was no room available and the accommodation was overbooked. The hosts were apologetic and booked us into a near by auberge that was “very nice and almost the same” as theirs. The property we got booked into was very disappointing and seemed neglected. Overall an unfortunate negative experience.

Good morningreally sorry that your experience at this hostel did not live up to your expectations. However, it is an establishment which has had a very good reputation for several years. On the other hand, I would like to take all the blame because it was my mistake of overbooking which led to all these disappointments. I have been operating an accommodation establishment for 19 years and this is the second time that an overbooking has happened to me but the first time that the customer is not satisfied
