Grocery stores in Val-David: Marché Métro in the village, Yann & Cie Gourmet grocery store, ready-to-eat, poultry & charcuterie from Quebec: 1065, route 117 in Val-David (on the road before arriving in the village).
The chalet is located on intimate wooded grounds, in the mountains, bordered by the "La Gyllespie" piste (directly accessible behind the chalet - Day tickets and information are available on the Parc regional web site and leading directly to Val-David/Val-Morin Regional Park, the largest cross-country ski network in the Laurentians! The 1900 acre park includes over 80 km of trails. You can choose between hiking, mountain biking or fat biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, off-piste telemarking, high-road skiing, splitboarding and even rock climbing. A few pairs of snowshoes will be lent to you free of charge with the purchase of passes.
You have access to the whole house.
There is a step to climb to enter the house where there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom adjoining the common areas which makes the ground floor accessible to people with reduced mobility.

During the winter season: good winter tires a must
DO NOT GO DOWN INTO THE COTTAGE ENTRANCE UNLESS YOU ARE IN A 4X4. You might not be able to get back up. Instead, park on the side of the street in the parking lot provided for this purpose. It's not very far from home. Please inform the members of your group of this information.
From the chalet: hikes in the forest, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sliding. And in the region: Mega-zipline, amusement parks for children, water slide, canoe, kayak, bike, rock climbing, fishing, downhill skiing, etc…
CAMERAS: We have a camera outside that targets the entrance and parking lot only. This is mainly for thieves, as well as to check the number of cars or people to avoid parties!
Pets: Please note that small dogs weighing less than 20 pounds may be accepted in the cottage, subject to certain restrictions and conditions. A fee of $75 per dog applies (maximum of 2 dogs). Heavier dogs are subject to approval only.
Complete bedding is provided as well as towels for the showers.
The kitchen is very well equipped. You will find, among other things, an espresso coffee machine, a coffee grinder, a food processor as well as equipment for the fondue (gas) in addition to all the usual accessories in a kitchen. In general, some basic elements are there such as: sugar, salt, pepper, spices, coffee filter, cellophane paper and aluminum foil, vegetable oil, etc...
You only have to bring your food, what you want to drink and your soap to wash yourself.
There is a 55'' HD smart TV with bluetooth soundbar as well as a cd/dvd player in the main floor living room and a second 40" HD smart TV with DVD player in the main floor family Rez -de-jardin As well as a pool table.
You have access to unlimited wireless internet with Bell Fibe.
There is also a washer/dryer, a BBQ (in summer only) and a dishwasher at your disposal.
The SPA can be used year-round and the swimming pool heated in season, from June 15 to September 15 (approx.) depending on Mother Nature.
There are also several toys for children from around 2 to 6 years old, a booster chair and playpen for babies and 4 pairs of snowshoes for adults.

CAMERAS: For security reasons, surveillance cameras are installed outside for most of our chalets. The cameras point only towards the entrance of the courtyard and not the ground or the interior of the chalet. Rest assured that the facilities do not infringe on privacy. Collected images are retained for 90 days only, except in certain special circumstances.
