Spacious maisonette with spectacular views IBRI1-1
This bright and tastefully finished duplex maisonette is a true gem and is found in one of Valletta's most iconic stepped cobblestone roads called, Triq il-Baterrija.
This traditional one bedroom maisonette is beautifully furnished. It has its own entrance and comprises of one double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and balcony, a spacious and bright living and dining area leading to a large Maltese balcony with breathtaking views of the harbor. It has a separate fully equipped kitchen, including a coffee machine, toaster and dishwasher.
On the lower floor, it has a double sofa bed and a second bathroom.
Another highlight of the maisonette is the high ceiling and the traditional Maltese tiles all throughout the property, offering a true marriage between Maltese heritage and modern design, which conveys a truly local feel.
The maisonette is located seconds away from Valletta's iconic Bridge Bar, which hosts great jazz every Friday during summertime. The property is also surrounded by chic coffee shops, Michelin star restaurants and museums.
Bed linen, towels and free Wi-fi are also provided.
This property was beautifully restored with amazing views over the harbor. There are QR codes on all appliances to show you had to use them. Good communication with manager. Only thing missing was a washing machine.
This is a modern stylish apartment in an old building which has retained its historic character. The apartment is very nicely furnished and comfortable.
It has wonderful views over the harbour to Three Cities.from the traditional balcony in the lounge and the bedroom window.
It is in a great location in an old part of Valletta so near restaurants and shops. It is a short walk to all sights in Valetta as well as the two harbours and the bus station.
The only negative was that there was a shortage of some items, particularly wine glasses and tea/coffee mugs. There are stern warnings about paying for breakages but it seems items have not been replaced.
Also, it would be nice to have fresh linens and towels after a week. We stayed 10 days and could have done with a refresh.
But overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again if visiting Valetta.
