Cozy Duplex Unit - Beautiful Lake Views!

Summary:
Unique and newly renovated duplex in the new Waitts Lake Resort. This modern lake-facing escape features fantastic lake views, accommodations for 6 guests, and gives you entry into the entire private resort and its facilities. This includes access to the private boat launch, beach, swimming area, community amphitheater rock fire pits, new rec room, and fishing docks. A fantastic location for both summer and winter activities!

The Space:
A short walk from beautiful Waitts Lake, this duplex offers an exceptional modern design with some warm rustic touches. Enjoy the many amenities this property offers from the fully stocked kitchen, to the personal and custom outdoor fire pit with rock seating area! Grab one of our included campfire forks and make some s'mores with the family! This space also includes a 55" TV with DISH programming for those rainy days or cozy evenings indoors. Enjoy the included 4 burner BBQ and included beach towels as well! Fantastic for summers on the lake or ice fishing in the winter! Please keep in mind that this location does not include Wi-Fi and cell signals can be spotty. BOOK NOW!

Guest Access:
Parking is provide next to each side of the duplex units. Only 2 vehicles are permitted to park per duplex unit. You are able to park a second vehicle behind the first but not in front the other duplex.
Prior to check in please send the license plate numbers of the vehicle(s) that will be there during your stay.

For those guests that want to bring a boat to the lake please know there is $20 dollar per day boat launch and mooring charge. It is collected by cash, check, or payment app that starts with a V from the local resort host.

The Neighborhood:
This unit is part of the new Waitts Lake Resort. This unit will share all resort amenities at no additional cost. Quiet time for the resort is from 11pm to 8am so please be respectful to your neighbors.

Other Things to Note:
For those guests that want to bring a boat to the lake please know there is $20 dollar per day boat launch and mooring charge. It is collected by cash, check, or Venmo from the local resort host.
We provide starter sets of basic essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo/conditioner, etc. It will be the guest's responsibility to replace if any of these items run out during your stay. Generally there is plenty and this usually only impacts long term rentals.

Interaction with Guests:
We do not live onsite, however, the resort is managed by a camp host that can address any immediate issues or concerns. Any additional assistance can be obtained by reaching out via phone or text message.

Hosts have been really excellent and they have been communicating through out the checkin and stay. Property is really nice and clean. Only issue that I have faced is while booking on Expedia I looked at pictures and assumed this property was on lake front However after reaching the property I realized that property is located across the lake and divided by road. I should have done my due diligence and checked resort website which clearly states this property is across the road and triplex unit is on lake front. So please refer to resort website before booking.

Had a wonderful time playing in the lake all day with my 2 daughters. Everything we needed was there and the owners were very responsive and helpful. The private beach access was never too crowded. I would definitely stay again!

Nice peaceful stay with very nice, approachable hosts

Few mentions: We asked for firewood etc. and the hosts were prompt to provide us. Low cell reception for mobile data at the location but enough to contact the host. Overall a nice, peaceful stay. Thanks a lot to the hosts.

Perfect weekend getaway

Wonderful cabin a short 100 yard walk to enclosed beach area. super quiet area of the lake. Cabin had everything you would need including a 60 inch TV with Dish. Great firepit for Smores and a nice Barbecue for grilling. Cabin with Air stayed nice and cool all day and night.

Fun at the lake

Overall the stay was great- right across the road from the lake and private beach area with docs. Great view of the lake in the morning while enjoying coffee outside. A few extra chairs outside like collapsible camping chairs would be nice and some hooks outside to hang towels and wet suits. We had some local friends come for dinner and they were quite impressed. Would recommend and go back for sure.

Awesome retreat!

Love this place. Planning to come back! Wall air conditioner helped keep cabin perfectly cool! Was a bit away from the water which was good with little kids ! They could play outside at cabin but didn’t have to worry about them getting to water easily. Cabin is at top of hill which is a sharp turn up the hill, pretty steep when coming back from water- but not terrible. If have physical limitations would be difficult but could drive down. Pretty well stocked but smaller size pans. BBQ was great!!! No wood at site ao bring your own or an axe. Overall loved it!!!

Nice lake spot and beach area

We enjoyed staying a couple of nights with kids, ages 2 and 5. The bunk beds were perfect for them, and the unit was clean and stocked with the essentials. The beach was a short walk down the hill, we caught fish right off the dock (kids were thrilled!!) and had a nice campfire in the fire pit. Only 1 beach towel (listing says beach towels included). Overall very happy we came!

Quick spring break getaway

Great little cabin right across the road from the lake for our party of four. Never got a chance to try the fishing or fire pit, but they looked like great locations for both. No dishwasher, Wi-Fi or cell coverage though. Didn't bother us though, we had a chance to play games and go hiking. We'll be back!
