Pontoval B & B is located in an excellent area of ​​Valparaiso. It is a very quiet, SAFE, clean and accessible area. The owners are very charismatic and nice people. Since our arrival they were more than eager to help us enjoy a pleasant stay at their place and an exciting visit to Valpo. The room was big, incredibly clean and tidy and with a breathtaking and fantastic view of Valparaiso (which was what we were looking for). Breakfast was delicious. The best one we had while traveling in Chile. Quality, nutritious and abundant food. The administrator took the time to give us an orientation of the zone, answered our questions and inquietudes, provided us with a good map and even suggested very interesting visits to maximize our vacation. Every day of our stay, the multilingual staff asked us how our sightseeing was going and continued helping us with our plans to ensure that we made the best of every day in Valparaíso, Viña del Mar, Reñaca and Concón. After visiting Valparaíso and learning what the "touristic" CERROS DE VALPARAÍSO have to offer; I have no doubt we were staying in one of the nicest neighborhoods in the area, away from all the "touristic" hubbub but still accesible when we wanted to experience it. We highly recommend the lodging option!
