Not worth the money, stay somewhere else
Posted Jun. 19, 2024 on HotelsThey told us the pool did not open until June 10 despite it being June 1st and that this was a thing in Spain. My husband and I both used to live in Spain and knew this was a lie. It was a hotter week than usual well over 85-90F degrees during the day. If the pool isn’t open then there is no where to lounge if you room does not have a patio. Only other outdoor seating is table seating outside by the bar. Seems to cater to more weddings then hotel guest experience. The food was good but we stayed at other hotels in Spain at comprable prices on the trip that were way better. I would give the restaurant a 6/10. Seems like it used to be a nice place and has had kinda gone down hill a little.

Beautiful wine hotel just outside Salamanca

Pros: Beautiful hotel. Amazing, friendly, generous staff. Great spa, restaurant and wine tasting. A true find!! Will definitely come back here!
Only small con: rooms not soundproof (had kids above us) and could use more lighting (a little dark)

We made this selection last minute for our final night in Spain and it was fabulous. Our only regret is that we could not have stayed longer. The property is beautiful and rich with history. The setting is so tranquil and was just what we needed to decompress from a three week driving vacation through Spain, Morocco and Portugal. We will definitely be back!

Very relaxing place. Anna at the Spa was amazing. She made our stay even better.
