No frig no microwave no table or chairs the shower was adribble of water, for 400.00 that was an absolute rip off for three nights!!!

A room with those items is available but must be reserved early. When you make a reservation, you must let us know then that you need a R/M and if that room style is available, we will gladly reserve it for you, as we explained to you at your visit with us. The room you were in is a handicap room so it is a bit smaller and does not have extra furnishings in it for room purposes. You didn’t say anything about the shower dripping when you spoke with the front desk about not having a fridge and microwave. We would gladly have sent maintenance over to look at it and we appreciate you letting us know now so we can fix it. As far as our rates, we are in line with all the other establishments in our area. Sorry your stay didn’t go as you wanted. Thanks anyway for staying with us.

Sweet nostalgic property right out of the 60’s, nicely renovated rooms. Pool and coffee shop were a plus!

We had a wonderful time at our stay!!!! Only complains was that the pillows were very lumpy and we had no fridge in our room!

Hmmm, sorry about the pillows. We have gone out of our way to ensure that we have great pillows. We have 4 “My Pillows” on each bed. If you tell me the room, I can see if those need to be changed out. We have refrigerators and microwaves in all the rooms except 5. Unfortunately, you must have gotten one of those rooms. Next time, ask for a room at reservation that has a f/m and if we have one available, we will be happy to put you in one of those rooms. We do appreciate your stay and hope that you come again!

It is a very old motel. The bed was hard, the furnishings were cheap. There is no breakfast. It was way over priced for the value.

The fact that it is an old motel is obvious in our description of our little place. It is written that we are an older motel that has recently been remodeled. We are a little family owned place that can’t afford expensive furnishing but we do have furnishing that are usable and were purchased new. Imagine if you only spent 1,000 on furnishings for a room….. sounds reasonable, right? Now multiply that by 27 rooms…. I think you get the idea. Anyway, thanks for staying with us and I hope you find more accommodating facilities in the future. There are 3 motels/hotels in our “tourist” area and one is double our price and the other is in line with us. Good luck to you and have a blessed day!

The place is good but our room's washroom didn't have any exhaust fan for odpr removal.

We are aware the bathrooms are dated. It is something that we would like to change but it requires the entire hotel to be required for electricity. This will be a very huge expense so it will take us some time. We do appreciate you staying with us! Safe travels.

We had the best weekend getaway! We had never been to Van Buren, but will most definitely be back. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The motel was cute and had a very family like environment!
