Unfortunately due to traffic through El Paso, I arrive a little after midnight which I also didn’t know was a requirement, but at least after 30 minutes of calling Hotels.com for help I was told to knock on a door to get help. This was a little traumatic tbh. I just drove 10 hours and had another 10 hours the next day. I just wanted a clean safe bed for a few hours of rest. I thought I was going to have to sleep in the car in the parking lot. The wifi code shown in office didn’t work which was problematic since there was also poor cellular service and I needed internet to submit a work report before I could sleep. Fortunately I prepaid because the lady that checked me in said they had been hacked recently and unable to take cards. I did not expect luxury at this price but also I have never seen a room so bad. The headboard fell off the wall just from me lYing on the bed. The mattress was all torn and dirty (silver lining no bugs!) and there wasn’t even a proper sheet. The sink slow drained and I didn’t dare risk trying the shower. The fridge worked at least. Anyway I wouldn’t even bother normally to write a review so bad for a cheap place but the posting for this location made it seem WAYYYYY better and I just don’t want some else to have this experience. The lady that woke from sleep to give me room was nice at least.
