DIRTY ROOM AND HALLWAY!

Room was next to construction. A/C unit was uncovered and not working. Hallway was filthy and dirty rug. Room tv was not working often going Off and On flickering. We will not stay here on future trips nor recommend to anyone.

Be aware of the Pet friendly is ONLY FOR DOGS at this location. The pet policy doesn’t mention that on Expedia. OTAs. Furthermore, When I arrived after a long drive and tried to check in, The front desk told me, I can’t check in with a rescued/animal feline. They don’t allow cats, even if it’s a rescued or service pet with all the documents. According to her, dogs are cleaner and easier to maintain than cats. I understand they have the right to refuse. However, I personally don’t like to waste my money, time, gas, and energy either. it’s a 2 ways street. Or I would not make a reservation.

Dear Irena:Being proud parents and grandparents to both dogs and cats, it is extremely painful for us to restrict our policy to dog only. This is somewhat standard for most budget hotels as it is very difficult and expensive to clean up cat urine from the carpet. This pet policy is elaborated at the FAQ section of our Expedia page: 'Is Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Vancouver pet-friendly? -- Yes, this hotel allows dogs (limit 2 total) with a maximum weight of up to 80 lbs per pet. There's a deposit of USD 10 per night and a fee of USD 10.00 per pet, per night. Service animals are exempt from fees.' Now, being sensitive to need for cat parents, we are seriously considering to customize a handful of rooms as cat friendly (tiles floor), it will be implemented sooner than later. Please call us before you visit next time about cat policy, and we hope we will be able to accommodate your needs.Please accept our apology for the inconvenience.Regards,Anis

I wouldn’t advise staying here. Not cleaning lobby. No front desk person at all. Breakfast pictures did not match, misleading. Check in was absolutely horrible after getting off work at 12:30am and needing my bed, no one there at all, waited till 2 am. Expedia wasn’t resourceful or helpful at the time either.
