(+) Well located and quiet.
(-) Dusty spider webs all around the room. Humidity smell. Cold/humid breakfast area & dirty floor / counter (basement). Fruit flies in the garbage can. No access to backyard (under construction). Stained towels.

I am so sorry that my B&B did not meet your expectations. I continuously strive to maintain the highest standards. If you read my other reviews, most of my guests agree that I achieve that goal.
I agree that there are some spiders in my home. This is simply a part of life in Vancouver; spiders are everywhere, always. I continuously dust the cobwebs away but they always come back.
I deny that my home is dirty. My cleaning is meticulous. If you note the comments from other guests, they attest to the same.
Vancouver is a humid city. I have no control over the weather. This humidity is not exclusive to my home alone.
I looked for the stained towels that you referenced and did not find them.
I have stated on the Expedia website as well as on my confirmation email to you that construction of a laneway house is in progress. You implicitly accepted this if you made your reservation.

Comfy Stay in Quiet Neighborhood
Publié le 3 août 2024 sur HotelsJoanne is very friendly and our room was very comfy with all that we needed. Breakfast was yummy & we appreciated that we could arrive early with no extra charge. The house is beautifully decorated and the neighborhood is quiet.

the path to the entrance was dangerous, poor lighting and uneven. The Breakfast was a series of poor choices.

I spent a great deal of EXTRA time dealing with your ever changing arrival time as well as making your special requests for breakfast.I was "rewarded" with a nasty review from you.Where is your sense of decency?

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!!!
Publié le 24 mai 2024 sur HotelsPower was out when we arrived so no internet! Could not contact owners as they are not on site! We opened door and it smelled horribly musty! It was midnight so we stayed. Next morning power back on and the place was filthy—really hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived! Per on bathroom floor, dirt everywhere! We could not get ahold of owner, nor could hotels.com (we booked thru them). Got ahold of them finally and they told me they would work on a refund. So far—I got nothing! I don’t mind paying for 1night as we stayed (we were supposed to stay for 3 night)! Still waiting to hear from them or owner!
