Margaret serves great breakfasts - mushroom omelettes, blueberry pancakes! The room was great, luxurious but not precious, with a view of the bay and city.

Though initially it was not exactly what we thought it will be, the owner was very nice, the breakfast was great, the people staying there was also nice and the people in the neighborhood too. The owner also gave us a better room. Overall it was a very good experience.

This was a very nice place to stay! Walkable to the harbor and many restaurants and breweries. I felt very safe in the area. Just know Vancouver is very hilly and this BnB has about 15 stairs to get to the house. Very welcoming host - made you feel right at home and very helpful.

The room doesnt not match the regular standar. You pay a 4 stars room when you enter in a equivalent discrete road motel. Breakfast was extremly poor and lack of privacy. Floor was too noisy, the landlord living i the low level complained because of noise. The fact to go to the bathroom in a very small room cause noise when you step. Next time a will go to a good hotel

Hello ; sorry for your bad experience however I feel must clarify this : the idea of bed and breakfast is to have people from all over the World by the same table so they can share traveling ideas ; food details : we are serving organic yogurt parfait with assorted fresh fruits , fresh orange juice , assorted omelettes , toasts , freshly brewed quality coffee ; you said that you never eat breakfast but I still offered you something just at least to try :) so I'm surprised for your comment ; secondly : floor is hardwood with special cork ! under plus additional noise proof underlay ( 21 mm of it ) and area rugs yet if you step very very hard on it then person below which is me could hear it ; since your luggage was lost you didn't have good mood , I;m sorry for your unfortunate circumstances ;

Dear Alan ; I would like to know more details about your 4 star review , is there something I can correct ? as per our accommodation in " Ocean Breeze Inn " we have 7 rooms with 8 bathrooms , we have daily professional cleaning service , we are preparing customs breakfasts daily by using all Organic ingredients , we are providing quality info about sightseeing tours , best dinning and places to go .... and our rates are very affordable compare to the area ; please tell us whats else you would like to receive ?

Excellent stay

Walking distance to water bus, marina, local breweries and restaurants. Margaret is an excellent host and ambassador for the area. Conveniently located to various Vancouver areas, including Horseshoe Bay. Will return.

The owner doubled the price two weeks before booked arrival for two nights. Cramped entrance for suitcase, crumbs on bed duvet. No plug for hair dryer in bathroom. Walk up slippery shower stall. Cluttered kitchen not suitable for more than four guests. Very dissatisfied.
