Booked accommodation here for a work trip in Vancouver in November. Arrived at the airport where I was supposed to have a shuttle pickup, after trying to call the hotel multiple times since the shuttle wasn't at the airport and then texting the contact number that I was Ubering to the hotel since there was no shuttle and I can't get a hold of anyone, I was texted back that they had a "major issue at their site and were forced to close for a few days, there is no one at the location so do not go there." 10:30 pm and I was forced to find alternate accommodation with zero warning, with many hotels having no availability. Expedia tried to get in touch with the host to ask what happened and request a refund since I never stayed at the property; the host did not return their calls/messages even though he had told me he would resolve this issue and refund my charge. 3 months later and still no refund or resolution.

Thanks for you thoughtful input during a vey difficult time for us. Without having to explain the full situation i just wanted to clarify that we at any point in time had never had access to your payment. The payment was made through Expedia and it was your responsibility to recover your funds from them as we never seen or withheld any payment you made and therefore could do nothing to have helped with that situation. We had always had a very viagble, popular and exceptional business as we currently have again. It was just unfortunate that the situation had turned out the way it did. You are correct to mention that no one is there any longer as that location is permanently closed however guests are welcome to join us in West Vancouver in our new venture.

Empty

Place was fully empty, we knocked and called for 30 minutes. Neighbours came over and told us they have emptied the place and moved out a couple nights before. I called and dealt with Hotels.com customer service and I’m shocked to see this place is still even up on the site. Do not book this as they are no longer there.

Showed up at our scheduled time to find the property was vacant. Looked through the windows and saw no furniture in the house. The lock on the door had been completely removed. Tried contacting the number provided and was unable to reach anyone. We ended up having to contact Hotels.com to place us in a new location. Weird thing was that we had received emails and texts from Suite Smart confirming our check in on the day of arrival. Also received emails on our scheduled check out date even though we never actually checked in…must be some automated system. This property needs to be removed from all booking websites.

Nobody was there to welcome me. I called and texted several times until I got fed up and left. Do not recommend at all!

We took a cab from downtown Vancouver only to find 3536 Quenel Drive empty. The managers cleaned it out two days before we got there. I am out 276.00 and am not happy at all. It was called suitesmart Vancouver. When will i receive my refund? Terry Harwood 250-714-3559

Great location, beautiful home. Really nice rooms. The host Dwayne, was really friendly and cooked us an amazing breakfast. There were other guests there but we didnt hear or see them until we were leaving, so privacy was not an issue at all. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful view! Clean , covered decks . I would change the ads I thought I was getting a queen and a double bed but only got one double . Breakfast was Amazing with a lot of options
