The host is very nice, accommodating, and attentive. My sleep was excellent. The bathroom is very clean and modern.
But, as mentioned by other reviewers, the smell of petroleum products was overwhelming as we made our way to the room through the garage. I have suggested to her that she just simply move her mixed fuel for her garden tools out to a shed. The smell initially made us want to move, if we had had the chance.
The room is very small and is connected with the main part of her house. There was really no security from the house to our room. I suggested a lock on the bedroom door would have gone a long way to help in our feelings of privacy and security for our belongings.
That being said, we did sleep well and were able to visit Stanley Park in the morning and return to pick up our belongings, which she kindly let us keep in her garage, before making our way to the airport after an overnight stay before a trip to Europe.
Would we go back, it depends on whether she has implemented any of ours and others suggestions.
