Hotel sur un des principaux ghat !! Idéal !
Publié le 24 mars 2017 sur ExpediaC'est un vrai Palace avec le service qui va avec. Pas de piscine ou de spa, mais des bateaux mis à dispo pour excursions sur le Ganges (ou service taxi), séances de yoga...
Penser à appeler l'hôtel en arrivant à l'aéroport car l'hôtel n'est accessible commodément qu'en bateau (véhicules interdits vers les ghats) !!

ガンジス川徒歩圏内である程度のレベルのホテルを求めると、日本人にはやや高い価格ですがここしかないと思いました。バックパッカー宿ならいくらでもあると思いますが、家族連れには無理だと思いました。他のター○やラジソ○など外資系はガンジスから離れるので不便かと思います。このロケーションなら思い立てばすぐバラナシの小路に出ることが出来ますので良いインド体験になると思います。ホテル自体は秀逸でここでよくこのレベルを維持しているなと快適でした。昔の宮殿なので古さは仕方ありませんが、スタッフも素晴らしくこの価格を出して十分でした。食事も家族一緒だったので昼夜ホテルで取りました。ガンジス川至近ということでベジ／アルコール無しですが、美味しかったです。子供がいたのでエキストラベッドも事前に依頼しておくと入れてくれました。モンスーン明け直後でガンジスの水嵩増えており、ボート禁止となっていたためガートは歩けず、ホテルも送迎は途中から10分ほど歩き＋5分ほど徒歩となりましたが、荷物は全て持ってくれます。女性や子供にはショッキングかもしれませんが、インドらしさ経験できます。ベストシーズンは酷暑3-6月やモンスーン7-8月を避けた10-12月頃かもしれません。12-1月は少し寒くなるそうです。

I am glad to learn that despite the higher price, you thought it was worth paying for the level of service we offer and you enjoyed the splendid experience at our majestic palace. Your appreciation for our staff's excellent service and our meals further strengthens our zeal to serve our guests better.
However, I regret and empathize with any inconvenience you may have faced due to the increased water volume in the Ganges post-monsoon, resulting in the boat ban and impacting your plan to walk along the Ghats. I also acknowledge your concern about the inconvenient pick-and-drop service during such events. We do everything possible to provide safe and comfortable transit during such times, especially for women and children.
Your recommendation on the best season to visit is very valuable, and I'm sure this will greatly help our future guests with their plans. Rest assured, we continually strive to enhance our guests' comfort in all seasons.

Deberían avisar previamente que su restaurante es vegetariano, lo que limita mucho la posibilidad de elección. Evitar elegir este hotel en temporada de monzón, porque es impracticable el acceso por el río y todas las entradas y salidas hay que hacerlas por el interior, cosa que no dejan clara cuando les preguntas al hacer la reserva. Es francamente sucio y poco atractivo el entorno interior del edificio.

the place is outstanding! It is an oasis in the chaotic, frenzied city of Veranasi. The staff are well trained, attentive, eagerly to please and friendly but respectful. In particular Kushi at the front desk is a problem solver.

Okay absolutely loved the location and the staff pretty much make the hotel. Excellent detail to attention and everyone so helpful but…since we came when Ganges was flooded, we had to walk through dirty alleyways to get to the hotel. The alleyways were unsafe and no way we could get to and from the hotel without help from staff.
