French rustic style gem for nature lovers, families or artists

Picked fruit in the small orchard to bake pies...however hiking down to play on the beach left little time for baking! Charming view of horses in adjacent field took me back to childhood Summers in l'Ardèche. Canine friendly haven for families, nature lovers and artists. Beautiful beach. Private and relaxing. Warm, friendly host Lisa was very welcoming. Stay was absolutely brilliant!

Country-style retreat just minutes and a ferry from the city
Publié le 24 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayVashon Island is one of those unique places where you can see the city across the water but experience the slowed pace of country living without giving up on some of the pleasures of the good life. Coach House was beautifully appointed, comfortable, surrounded by fields and woods, and only minutes from basic shopping and great restaurants (check out Earthen Bistro!). Hosts were very attentive, if needed. Forgot about things back home and any worries for just a few days of island life.

place was sooooo freaken nice like whyyyyyy due to so many big black spiders we emidiatly left

I inspected every crack and crevice of the house and there isn’t a spider ANYWHERE. The place is immaculate. -and should you see a spider just call us and we’ll vacuum it up for you!!!!

Rest, relaxation and a bit of magic
Publié le 8 avr. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe Coach House is a place for deep rest for the body, mind and soul. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye and senses, nothing is missed here, allowing one to just enter into a stay of relaxation.
I was welcomed by the father of the property who shared with me how he grew up on it as long as he was old. The fine details of this property so carefully managed and taken care of by this multi- generational family shows. It shows love around every corner.
I came to restore, get grounded and rest and even though I only experienced one night… it was just what I needed.
I will return.

Overall a nice stay on Vashon Island

We were disappointed with the bathroom as the sink did not drain and the shower/tub was small and did not have room for toiletries. This stay was overpriced in our opinion. The 4 star rating is objective and based on the location's amenities.

Beautiful property

Amazing place
